Here’s Dobby and Luna, and yes, they’re named after characters from Harry Potter 🪄. We adopted Dobby from a shelter in Houston, TX in 2019 when he was just 6 months old. It was total fate that he was there that day as he was supposed to be taken to a rescue event but got left behind. He was so scared when we first took him out of the kennel that he actually peed on the handler! Nevertheless, it was love at first sight and we took him home and haven’t looked back since. We can confidently say that our lives would 1000% be on a different track right now if we never found our little derpy Dobs as this little guy was the one that inspired us to start Happy Dingos! But no, he did not inspire the name or the dog in our logo 😊. Maybe we’ll share more on that at another time 🐕🐾
