I’d like to welcome the newest additions to our family, Pepper and Paprika. Pepper is a Ghost Bloodred and Paprika is a Coral Ghost. These two are both in quarantine right now settling in.

I’m really excited to raise these two as I was super interested in perusing a ghost project in the future. The pictures do not do these two justice as in the right light Paprika has a very bright pink hue already as a baby. I’m so excited to see how these two grow!

Just as a quick update for my followers as I know I haven’t posted anything in a little while. The move is going swimmingly. All of the snakes are a little cooped up in their travel containers, but all are healthy. I’m just hoping that my preparations pay off during our trip to make sure they stay that way until we arrive at our final destination. It has been rather stressful trying to move an entire collection halfway across the country, but I do feel it will be worth the trouble.

Thanks for sticking with me during this transition period!

I got a Find Your Reptile profile now! Unfortunately I do not have a store set up just yet as at this moment I don't have any babies to even list. HOWEVER, that time will come very soon once I am settled in TX.

Miss Sassy just completed a shed today and she is ✨Sparkling✨! She is now measuring just over 3 feet long and as of today she is a year and a half old. She has grown A LOT since I first purchased her. She isn’t old enough to breed yet, but I know one day she will make an excellent mama.

Finished new logo! While I know I am not the best graphic artist, I take pride in making my own logos and marketing material.

Fun fact: the constellation in the image is called Serpens Caput (snake head), which is a small part of a larger constellation called Serpens. Serpens in the only constellation cut in two as it is typically depicted as a large snake being held by Ophiuchus the Serpent Bearer.

Part of the reason why I chose the name Cosmic Colubrids (previously Cosmic Corns), was because I not only enjoy breeding and caring for colubrids, but I also enjoy studying astronomy. Space has been a huge interest for me and I love being able to incorporate that into my business. That, and many corn snake morphs look like colorful nebulas.

I hope you enjoy this fresh new look for when I return with more babies at the beginning of the next breeding season!

Work in progress for my new snake logo. Can you guess what the constellation is?

I want to take a moment to thank all of the customers and friends I have made who have supported me for my first year as a vendor. I thoroughly enjoyed being a vendor at the Mid-Atlantic Expo, the Altoona Expo, and my personal favorite, the Keystone Reptile expo. It truly brought me joy to bring happiness to the families who welcomed a new scale-baby into their home. That is the reason why I dove into this hobby. I wanted to provide the same happiness I felt 15 years ago when I got my first snake. And I feel that I have accomplished that.

However, I unfortunately have to take a break from vending as I will no longer be vending in Pennsylvania after May. My human family, and my reptile family haha, will be moving to northern Texas in May. From there I will continue my breeding efforts with my current collection in Texas. I will be visiting Pennsylvania again as I would like to vend at the big Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia shows in the future, but I will be vending primarily in Texas.

So far my projects include Bloodred, Opal, Scaleless, Pied Sided, Hypo, and Amelanistic corn snakes. I am also branching into African House Snakes and Florida King Snakes. If that is something that interests you, feel free to keep following as I will be opening up a Morph Market store in the near future!

Thank you again for supporting me and inspiring me into continuing this hobby!

(Pictured is the newest addition to our family, Viktor. He is a Motely Opal provided to me by Rock Creek Corns and one of these days he will be a proud papa. 😊)

It seems king snakes enjoy the jungle gyms more than corn snakes. My female Florida king seems to enjoy it at least.

Brian Barczyk You were one of the reasons I embarked on the trail of reptiles. I’ve been doing this for less than a year, but I’ve loved reptiles all my life. But because of you, you gave me the courage to start my business and go to my first shows in 2023. You gave me the inspiration to start my own breeding projects and hopefully make a name for myself, just like you did. I want to thank you for giving me that courage and inspiration.

You will be missed Brian.

Yours truly, Delia Lopez from Cosmic Corns.
