Meet Duke and Loretta, two of our MVP furry clients! 🐶❤️
When we first started walking Duke, he had a habit of pulling and reacting to other dogs. But look at him now! With regular walks and positive reinforcement, Duke has grown up into such a sweet gentleman. We’re so proud of him, especially when he sits patiently and smiles at us while watching other dogs pass by. His progress has been incredible, and we love showering him with affection!

Loretta, on the other hand, has knee issues, so she enjoys mini adventures in her yard. She might not go on long walks, but she makes sure both she and Duke get their treats after our visits. 🍖🐕

Home Run is the best! They take excellent care of our large dog, always upload plenty of pictures and are happy to accommodate any specific needs you might have like taking out the trash or watering plants.

National Book Lovers Day is celebrated every year on August 9th.
Do you have any favorite books you read over and over?
If we have a nervous client - canine/feline, not human - we will read stories to them to allow them to get used to our voices and help ease their anxiety.

Thanks Home Run Pet Care and our sitter Marge! I had to go out of town last minute for an important meeting and was able to get a meet and greet right away and two extended visits the next day. My dog Mini looked very happy in the pics Marge provided from the visits and she was a good girl when I got home. Thumbs 👍🏼 up!

Pet Parent PSA: Today, during a routine cat-sitting visit, I encountered a very dangerous situation and I wanted to share with everyone that may not have thought about this potential danger with pets (or kids). At Home Run Pet Care, we prioritize the safety and well-being of your beloved pets. Today, we want to address a critical yet often overlooked hazard in many homes: stove k***s. Both cats and dogs can accidentally turn on stove burners, creating dangerous fires, gas, and burn hazards.

We absolutely love welcoming new pet parents to our community, and Abby's story is a perfect example of why we do what we do. Since moving to the area in May of 2022, Abby's mom found herself in a new state without nearby family or friends. Navigating a new environment is challenging, but knowing Abby has a trusted companion during weekend getaways and long workdays has made all the difference.

Loki wants his Nashville friends to know the timing for the solar eclipse today. It will start at 12:44pm, reach maximum point (94.4% for Nashville) at 2:03pm and it will end at 3:20pm. Loki will be inside but he wants his human friends to know they need these cool glasses to safely look up at the eclipse.
