Celina Animal Hospital We are a full staffed large and small animal clinic with three licensed doctors: Dr. Ralph Hecht, Dr. Andrew Roth, and Dr. Melinda Homan.

Large and small animal services are provided daily by appointment only during the day but also emergency hours in the evening for our clients. Feel free to give us a call for all your pets needs!

Today we are featuring our April Pet Of The Month!
-Medusa, the Maine C**n

Do you think you have a Maine c**n? Does it look like miss Medusa? Maine c**n cats have very distinct features such as ear tufts and a round head with a square muzzle. Maine c**ns are rather large and lean felines.

Job Description:
• Greeting customers with a positive, helpful, and welcoming demeanor.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Answering a multi-line phone system, interacting with customers, and scheduling appointments.
• Schedule appointments, document patient information, check clients in and out for their appointments, and process payments.
• Helping to maintain the flow of appointments.
• Helping maintain the cleanliness of the facility.

Skills:
• Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field preferred, but not required.
• Experience with administrative and clerical procedures preferred, but not required.
• Good time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This position will start off as part-time, but it does have potential to become full time. Rotating Saturday schedule (half day). The person must have reliable transportation for potential travel between Saint Mary’s and Celina. Pay is negotiable based off experience.

With the upcoming heat please be conscious of your pets needs this next week or so and going into Summer. Refrain from prolonged time outside, exercising excessively at the dog park, and going for long walks mid-day especially on blacktop. This is a friendly reminder that with the fourth of July coming up our pets do not react the same way we do with the celebrations. If you think your pet needs anxiety medicine please call us as soon as possible to discuss refilling prior prescriptions or to discuss your pets options.
