With the upcoming heat please be conscious of your pets needs this next week or so and going into Summer. Refrain from prolonged time outside, exercising excessively at the dog park, and going for long walks mid-day especially on blacktop. This is a friendly reminder that with the fourth of July coming up our pets do not react the same way we do with the celebrations. If you think your pet needs anxiety medicine please call us as soon as possible to discuss refilling prior prescriptions or to discuss your pets options.

UPDATE: Due to still not having power, we are closing our Celina location for the rest of the day. Our St. Mary's office is still open and can be reached at 419-394-6233. The address there is 2105 Celina Road in St. Mary's.

We are currently still without power. We are able to still answer phone calls, but until further notice we are doing only emergencies. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will update when we have power back.

With the solar eclipse approaching we have been having an increased amount of people asking about what to do with their four legged family members. As much as us humans care about this once in a lifetime event - our four legged friends do not. For safety of your pets eyes, please don't make your pets look at the eclipse (even with eye protection of any kind). Most pets are not going to have any real reaction to the eclipse, but they may have a reaction to how their owners react. Remember in the days leading up to be conscious of the increased amount of tourists and traffic in our area.

Scientists are gearing up to observe animals at multiple zoos during April's eclipse. They were surprised at what they discovered last time.

We have two fundraisers at our office kindly started by Lisa Hannah! Proceeds will be going to Animal Protection League of Mercer County Ohio to help with the doodles that were abandoned on Burrville Road.

A mama cat and her three little kittens were dropped off in a carrier in the bushes this morning.

The car that dropped them off was an old tan colored car. If anyone knows who could have dropped them off please let us know!

We would love to find homes for these little ones. However we are NOT a shelter and are not able to keep them here over the weekend.

We are here until noon today, Saturday.
