Sometimes when people adopt a second cat they go younger, but the resident older cat may not appreciate a young whipper snapper running around them. Enter the third cat!! This fun family chose Marcus! Marcus will be happy to play with their younger cat, letting their older cat have her alone time.

At the Roanoke and Alliance Petsmarts, we have officially put up our own angel trees filled with ideas of the things we use most throughout the year. Simply select an angel, purchase the items and place them in the bucket next to the tree. The kitties (and us!) would be so grateful for any help you can give, and the trees will be up for the next couple of weeks!

If you have cats you likely know what this is….this lovely specimen of a decimated feather toy came from the kitten room!! They definitely had fun with it!!
They’re pretty wild in there so if you would like to help providing more toys or feather wands we do have some on our Amazon list for this Giving Tuesday. We can’t promise they’ll last long but we can promise the kittens will have a blast!

Today is Giving Tuesday! However, since you all were so so generous during our last fundraiser we hated to ask for monetary contributions. Sooooooo, we have taken this opportunity to update our Amazon Wishlist!

The Alliance Petsmart has some of our most adorable cats there this week, including brown tabby Abby! She's about a year old, sooooo sweet, super cute, very friendly and likes to be picked up! She's still young enough to be playful too! While you're there, check in on Sophia, Sam, Marcus and Pecos. They're all related and would do well to be adopted in pairs or threes if you have a mind. Sophia is all black while her brothers are the prettiest shade of red. They're kittens so they're still in their goofy stage. House panthers or matching ginger boys, we got you covered!

Our kitties are back! Stop by the Roanoke Petsmart if you want to see two adorable girls!! Carly the calico is sweet, loving, purring, just an all around good girl. She'll need a minute to settle in, then she'll be off to play!! Brown Tabby Ramona will be there too! She's a people lover, wanting to be where you are! Then she'll be off to jump and wrestle with any friends she has!

It's Blondie's turn for Follow Up Friday! Her new mom had this to say: "We wanted to let you know that Blondie is doing great! She's very active and adding so much joy to our family! We've been used to old kitties for so long... it's wonderful for our son to have a younger kitty to hang out with!
Blondie follows our son around like a puppy! Carrson adores her! She's right beside him anywhere he is. She sleeps with him and even sits on his feet when he's doing homework! Blondie is very sweet and a perfect fit for our family!
It's been a very smooth transition. She and our old kitty are getting along just fine. We'll definitely adopt from you again in the future!"
