Sweet, shy Josie has a new home!! This cute couple have a 7 year old male cat at home who’s pretty laid back and a little lonely. Josie will be a good choice for him as she’s a little shy so won’t be up in his space all the time. They know they’ll need to give her some time to adjust and they’re more than happy to do that. She’ll be grateful for this as she get accustomed to a new life that’s going to be the best one yet!

These two adorable girls are twins. One loves dogs and one loves cats. You can definitely tell which is which by their cute dresses! This nice couple came to the latest Bedford Library Cat Café, to meet the kitties there. But also wanted to come to our rescue to make sure they had seen everyone before making a decision. While they were there, Cedric hopped up in the man’s lap without a second of hesitation and just like that the decision was made! The Alliance Petsmart is restocked with new kitties for your viewing pleasure! Stop by and say hi to sweet and soft Josie, buddies Shimmy and Rusty, and more buddies, Justin and Clayton! Dilute Calico Josie is sooo pretty, and would love a quieter home to live. Grey tabby Shimmy has a mild case of "the wobbles", but still gets around good as all get out. Her buddy Rusty (orange tabby) knows just how to play with her and is gentle about it, so we want to adopt them together. You don't have to worry though, they're BOTH sweet and special and loving. All black Justin and black tabby Clayton are two playful boys that have loads of personality and energy. They play together so well!

If you were hoping to see Ebony in person, it’s time!! Ebony and his buddy Ranger are hanging out at the Roanoke Petsmart this week! Ebony is the last kitten from a litter of five, in which all kittens plus the momma were all polydactyls. He’s super snuggly, playful and all around a good boy. Ranger is there too, ready to play and be admired. His little nose stripe is so cute and both boys would love a new home!

A family that volunteers at Classy Cats, recently adopted Decker and Duncan, and they're here with a Follow Up! "Zeke (Decker) and Zephyr (Duncan) are doing great and have become best friends! They love to play and nap together. They have also been accepted by their older brothers, Zoot and Zigzag (also a Classy Cat), who have finally learned to tolerate their kitten energy. It was a fantastic moment to catch them all sharing the same bed the other day for nap and bath time." Honestly? Our favorite part is the cat pile on the cat bed!!!

Here's a Follow Up on a Follow Up! Ralphie is doing so well, his new family wanted to let us know! They say "Ralphie is doing great! He’s really figured out his place here and it’s better than we could have dreamed. He and Mr. Spock get along really well. Spock will stand or sit there while Ralphie rubs his scent on him, trade a nose boop, and just mosey along. Ralphie loves being in the middle of everything. He was a bit reclusive his first day or two, but now he’s literally part of the dynamic. We had family over end of May, and he was just sitting around watching everything, no disappearing acts, or hiding in his cubby. At night he makes a spot at my feet or snuggles up with a blanket. He also likes to grab fingers. He’s also really talkative, which is great. Anyways, just wanted to let you all know that he’s doing great. We love him lots, and we hope that this brightens your day." It's a tabby sort of week at the Alliance Petsmart! Brown tabbies are typically very smart, inquisitive and affectionate, however they still like cuddles and lots of attention. If you come visit the Alliance Petsmart, you'll find brown tick tabby Pepper, black tabbies Palmer and Lawrence, and brown tabby Maribel. All of these cats are wonderful additions to a home. Pepper is super sweet and looovves looking out the window. Palmer would be happy to simply live on your lap, Lawrence is a goofy boy that races around the adult room for no good reason at all, but always loves the attention from the volunteers, and Maribel is definitely very smart with a mind of her own.

Everyone, meet Ryland and his cute little toe beans!! Ryland is such a good boy but he keeps getting overlooked. Likely because he’s more mellow than the other kittens. But he’s cute, playful and super sweet. This boy won’t be the star of the show, he likely won’t be getting you 100,000 likes on social media, but what he will be, is a faithful bird watcher, cuddly snuggler, and a great companion cat to another cat. He gets along with everyone in the kitten room, and lately he’s convinced some volunteers to open doors so he can visit the adult room, and he’s friends with all the adult cats too! He’s an all around good cat that isn’t up in your face all the time, but still needs a permanent family to love.

We'll be there starting at 5:30, and staying until 7:30, along with Dylan, Losi, Pepper and Marin! Follow Up Friday continues with an older adoption, but still a happy one! This time about Christopher (now Max) His human mom sent us this super fun collage and says, "Hi Classy Cats. It’s been a year since we got sweet Christopher “Max” now. He’s enjoying bunny watching from the window & TV, curling up by the fireplace, loving on us, socializing with guests, and playing with his toys. Adam, Classy Cat's newest massage therapist, is open for business!!!

As we mentioned yesterday, we had a couple contact us with a stray kitten several months ago and as they followed his journey through to adoption, they became part of us. The husband works as a locally based cameraman for Paramount, and this is where the awesome part comes in. They contacted us about videoing a promotional spot for our rescue! Not only did they bring THEIR OWN CAMERA CREW, food for our volunteers (which was a-ma-zing!) and a great game plan, they spruced up our adoption areas, and paid their crew as well as the editing company. They even brought hair and make up for our fearless leader Annette’s interview! Y'all, these people are the real deal. This was such a blessing for Classy Cats and we’re so grateful for all of the work they have done to spotlight our rescue. It also came at the perfect time, as we’re unveiling the final product TODAY, on this first day of Early Giving for North Texas Giving Day, so anyone who might be thinking of donating to our rescue, can learn more about us and the work we do. There aren’t words to express how truly grateful we are for this wonderful promotion tool.
