Dr. Barry M. Adler, 74, of Lincroft passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.

A celebration of Barry's life will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 2pm to 5pm at GERITY & CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 411 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.

As NJVMA president, he established member roundtables, providing members an opportunity to discuss topics of import with NJVMA leadership, resulting in the development of a policy that was aligned with members’ positions.
While serving as chair of the NJVMA legislative committee, his astute understanding of complex legislative issues protected the profession from onerous legislative policy and promoted the profession’s value to the welfare of New Jerseyans and their animals.

The NJVMA is seeking passionate members to join working groups that will help shape our strategic initiatives in Branding, Advocacy, and Continuing Education!

✨ Opportunities Available:
🔹 Branding – 5 members needed to enhance awareness and engagement among NJ veterinarians.
🔹 Advocacy – 3 members needed to support legislative efforts and represent members' views.
🔹 Continuing Education – 4 members needed to refine and grow NJVMA’s educational programs.

📅 Time Commitment:
Virtual meetings, approx. 1 hour/month (with potential additional project work).
