Pawsitively groom-tastic with NO clippers! Wire and course coats need more than just a snip-snip with clippers to look their best. Hand stripping and carding techniques will bring out the vibrant colors and wire-like texture in most terriers, Schnauzers, Griffons, and Airdales. It may take some extra time, but it's paw-some for keeping your furry friend feeling and looking fabulous!

Doodles are playful sweethearts with loads of lovin' to give! This big ball of fluff won the matted coat makeover challenge last week.
Matting happens cause everyone's life gets busy and I'm here to help out! To help prevent matting, remember to brush their coat before and after bathing, and avoid the need for a total shave!
Big Doodles, the gigantic furballs! I help them become their best silly selves on my grooming table with goodies, belly rubs, and pawsitive reinforcement!
Kitty cats are like teeny tiny human babies, but way more fur-bulous and armed with razor sharp claws! Those little furry acrobats will use every trick in the book during washing time, so watch out for those paws and get ready for some serious belly laughs! To groom a kitty cat, I tap into my inner cat mom and give them the full fur-baby treatment. Before you know it, your kitty will be looking dapper and you'll be the cat's whiskers 🐈 purrfection!

Purrfect transformation! Who knew a visit to see Nadia's WNW sPaw would be so purr-fectly life-changing? And who knew they had stockpiled so much fur?
Fur flew, washed in bubbles with a soothing conditioner, ears sparkled clean, nails got nice and trimmed and purrfection took its place! So smooth!

Ticks be gone! Summer's here, and we don't want any unwanted hitchhikers ruining the fun! Protect your fur babies by checking for ticks often. My client's pup sadly found out the hard way. Topical tick medication may not be enough. Consult your vet for a more effective solution. Trio has been working well for my pups, tick-free and happy! Keep those ticks at bay and have a paw-some summer!
Short-haired Duke went from scruffy to sleek after his visit. He got a deshedding, nails clipped and filed, and ears and teeth cleaned. He was so happy, he could have jumped for joy (but he didn't want to mess up his new 'do:)!
Paws for a moment and consider this: trimmed nails and comfy paws make for one happy hound! This week I have seen tangled Doodle paws with tiny thorns between fingers irritating and causing discomfort. As well as ingrown nails...that caused serious injury. So, check your pup's feet regularly and paw-sitively pamper that pup!
Grooming pups? It's always an adventure! Ginger and Fred have mastered the art of treat-seeking. Their grooming table experience was filled with laughter and pawsitive reinforcement. Nails? No problem! Drier? It's still a work in progress, but they're getting there. They're ready for a paw-some week!
Rain, rain go away, and take that matted Doodle dog coat with you! But hey, friends help friends, especially when there's a furry mess to fix! With good clippers old matted blanket coat came off making this pup's day brighter.

Stoney, a fluffy SheepaDoodle, stopped by for head & ears touch ups and a belly trim today. He was happy this visit was quite short but still didn't want to wait for his conditioner soak... he most definitely thought washing with shampoo twice was way too much😂😅
Easy-peezy! With snuggles, hugs, plenty of pets and a warm blanket Shakira, a thirteen-year-old ShihTzu, got through a grooming appointment with ease this morning. She couldn't see or hear but she felt the warmth and kindness of hands and it made the whole difference.
Back to grooming!

My two pups appreciated running and playing in the sand at Rehoboth and Cape Henlopen last week. Such nice beaches full of horseshoe crabs, sea shells and sand dunes. The pups managed to stay out of water most of time but Cookie got into a bramble bush and got more than a hundred burrs all over his paws, legs, stomach and his back. Three of us worked hard and thankfully got them all out.
Then back to brushing sand out, conditioning their coats and drying thoroughly to keep their long coats soft and nice.
