This is so accurate and exactly why we have stepped back from producing puppies for the last 2 years.
I just refuse to add to it.

The market is bad right now. Partly because of the cost of living is astronomical right now but mostly because we have had a major influx of new and backyard breeders flooding the market with low quality dogs. They are pumping out unregistered, untested, terrible quality dogs and selling them for 1500-2500 full breeding rights.
I get many people asking about my pups and the moment they hear the price it’s “too high, can get cheaper”, or they ghost me.
I don’t think people realize that it’s impossible for a reputable breeder to buy good quality lines, run all appropriate health testing, color testing, akc, csections, stud fees, etc and sell dogs that cheap.
If your breeder is able to sell to you that cheap, there is a reason. They are cutting corners off that list somewhere and nothing on that list should be sacrificed. You get what you pay for.
Not all frenchies are created equal and you have to put the research time in before you buy. Do you want a dog from in**ed parents? Do you want a dog that has never seen the vet, never been health tested and was allowed to try and whelp at home? That’s what you get for 2k.
Stay aware and stay safe in your purchases people!!
