The pics were mixed up yet the story of rescue of 2 Haynov grand- offspring is true. The person who rescued 2 of Haynov's grand offspring is asking for donations. She needs $500 to have a transport company take them to the Arabian Rescue and Education in Oregon City. I've already donated. Respond to this post and I will give you her number to Venmo her -- small donations add up. I have seen the geldings papers that she has and believe this is a legitimate request. ❤️ Perhaps someone will volunteer to transport them instead.

Thanks to all who have liked Whispering Oaks Arabians. We feel more like a rescue site than a business these last several years, yet we adore our Arabian friends and are happy to support them any way we can. Our horses are healers; you need only to walk among them to feel that. We are so blessed to have them.

Sooo I now have a great volunteer assistant and after 2 stem cell treatments, I am ready to finally begin training of my last foal crop. Seems like forever, yet now the are past silliness.

Soooo, I've been quiet for awhile. Busy working on my Thesis for my MS in GIS -- have to do something to support my critters, as the horse business has taken a nosedive since the recession. Families that used to show together and ride trails together are now soccer homes. Sad because there is so much more to family interdependence with horses. I remember so well all of our family rides. Now I am teaching my grandkids and soon will be hitting the trails with them.

We just moved to a great ranch! The horses love their new pastures -- young boys are together (our one remaining Halynov line stallion with his 2 half brothers who have been gelded). Although we still have a few old timers who are great with the grandkids, we are in the process of training the last foal crop of Solstar, Romanov and Riverdance for their future rides. We recently sold one of the last offspring -- Romanza -- to Jason Zehendner. Congrats! We are still offering 2 of our geldings for sale -- they need to get going on the trails. They are sweet, affectionate, willing, and very smart! Should train easily.

Just gelded two of my colts -- no use to bring more babies into this economy with hay prices soaring and so many in resues and abandoned. I have one wanna-be-stallion left and he's acting gay ( I don't like mares and won't breed them -- honestly!) - hoping to avoid the knife! The new geldings are for sale -- they need to be out there riding trails and my knee is still not ready. Really great deal for a good home!

People have been emailing me to ask what happened with the theft of my horses recently. I have learned to "Let go and let God." I pray that they all got good homes and are appreciated for the wonderful friends they are. There is no way to find them without penalizing the 13 horses we are still taking care of now. I am not in a position to hire an expensive attorney and have no way to physically reach Rachelle or her father to even serve them, if I could hire an attorney. The horses are probably scattered by now and they were evidently sold without their papers so no way to track. If you want more info, go to

Half brother to WOA Halyva Star, shown below, "Chance" yet out of race champion *Tallin dam lines, Heeza (or Chance, as he is nicknamed) has the same beauty and movement, yet in a different flavor -- bay. As soon as I recover from an upcoming knee replacement (ouch!), I will be starting him and his brother under saddle. They are both willing and such sweethearts!

Enjoy! A wonderful example of what excellence you get when you cross 2 champion bloodlines: Explodent and TLA Halynov. Not only does this guy have beauty, but he can really move! Well, I am finally done with coursework for my MS degree in GIS (still need to submit thesis and take comps -- UGH!) and can update things I have let slide too long. Finally took down that not so pretty picture of my winter-furry kids! My cover picture now is of my Riverdance and Romanov offspring that were purchased by Lisa Shumate and are now on a large ranch with plenty of freedom to exercise and enjoy growing up! There is nothing that compares to watching Arabians run free in pasture -- poetry in motion!
