🎄Our Angel Tree Program is in full swing this year! We are so grateful to our partners in the community who are hosting our Christmas Angel Trees this year! Each tree holds angel tags for the shelter pets with their Christmas wish list. If you see one of these trees out in the community, we invite you to take a tag and fill the wish - find the gift 🎁 and place it in the collection receptacle by the tree and the shelter elves (volunteers) will come by to collect the donations and transport them to the shelter. YOU keep the tag to hang on your own tree as a reminder of the shelter pet you helped this holday season. 🎄These gifts 🎁 (donations) help support the animals during their stay at the shelter. 🐶 🐾 🐱

Yesterday, we held “The Humane Society of Wickenburg Cat Going Home Parade”! 💕 Four darling kittens found their forever homes yesterday. We are so happy Delany, Rhett, Riley and Phoebe are off to their forever homes.

Tinsel has gone home where he will fill a very empty spot in his new parents home. They were already referring to themselves as mom and dad. I think Tinsel is going to be one happy furry friend.

What a fun day for Winona and her new family. She not only found her new home with wonderful sibling's, she is a surprise for a sweet human friend. How fun it must have been to hear a squeal of excitement and instant love.

December started off with lots of holiday cheer. Our adorable Winona found her furever home for Christmas. We are super excited to see that soft ball of fluff go home with her new parents!!!

The end of our 2024 Pet Photo Contest is fast approaching! Make sure you check out the Leaderboard and VOTE before the contest ends tomorrow (Saturday, November 30th) at midnight!

This is a fun contest where the top 12 pets will be featured on our AniMobile vehicle wrap, and the contest proceeds will fund our AniMeals and AniMobile programs!

AniMeals is our home-delivered pet meals program. Pet meals are delivered to pets of homebound owners who are unable to drive or pick up pet food on their own to bring home to their pets. The AniMobile is our vehicle used to deliver those pet meals and provide transportation for pets and their owners who cannot drive. We give them a ride to their veterinary appointments, grooming appointments, and even the dog park! Rides are free, and donations are appreciated.

These programs are 100% facilitated by our incredible volunteers!

This pet photo contest fundraiser is so important because the proceeds of the photo contest will cover program expenses such as vehicle insurance, registration, gas, and program supplies like bags and labels to package the pet meals to be delivered on their routes for the entire year of 2025!

The cost of the wrap is underwritten by grant funds we received from the Albertsons Companies Foundation! We are so grateful to the Albertsons Companies Foundation for their generosity.

Pet meals are provided through donated pet food and our partnership with Nestle Purina. Thank you, Purina!

There is a great need for these services in our community, and I hope you will join us and support these programs by participating in the 2024 Pet Photo Contest - HURRY, it ends tomorrow night at midnight!

Foster Request:
Hi, My name is Uncle Frank.
I am a 12-year-old, 45-pound neutered male dog.
I like being here at the shelter, but I would really like to be in a foster home until I can be adopted (unless you would like to adopt me when I am available for adoption)! I would be happy with a nice calm home or retired human(s) because I am retired too! Someone who just likes to chill because that's what I like to do. I'm not into fetch or play much anymore. I just like long naps, lounging around and cuddles. And no worries about me barking at every noise because I'm deaf, but a little tug on my collar will get my attention for sure!
