✨Animal Communication and Healing✨

One of the greatest gifts I’ve been given from the universe is my connection to animals. Myself along with most of my soul tribe connect with them in the purest and most respectful ways.

I think I’ve always known that my relationship with animals is different. It’s been the “thing” that people first know about me for my whole life. It lead me to my work as a Vet Tech, brought me to almost all of my soul tribe, even caught myself a husband with a picture of my Charlie pup.

These last few years or so, with all of the shifts and inner work we’ve all done, my ability to communicate with them became stronger.

As an Empath and human being, I have not always done the best job at creating boundaries and allowed service to take over my life. In every one of those times of burnout that I can remember, animals brought me back to life. I know that this is the case for most of my friends and family who connect strongly to animals as well.

This last year, Darla has really helped me to understand and communicate with them in a stronger way. She is a creature with such a strong free will and refuses to not be heard. Since she is getting a little older and we have some younger guys in our house again, I think she felt a little unseen. She would literally stare holes into me until I could connect with what she needed (usually a treat or Murphy was bothering her 🙈). Once I started to pay attention to her cues, she really settled and appreciated the connection.

Since then, I have been working with other people’s creatures so much more often. I have gotten so much joy connecting to them and helping them to have a voice, especially with animals who are exhibiting behavioral and health issues. I typically start my sessions with a bit of communication and then send Reiki to the areas I’ve touched on with the animal.

I wanted to take some time to thank those who have supported me during each step of creating and re-creating Enchanted Wings Healing. When I opened up shop in 2018 I knew that wanted to offer to help others the way that I had been helped, and I wanted to grow in my gifts and abilities.

It has taken so many years of self reflection, work, patience, and letting myself off of the hook-but I finally see the picture more clearly. A big chunk of this business as well as this life for me has been overcoming self doubt. After blocking myself and setting limitations and fear around going off on my own-I’m ready to start freeing myself. As I am constantly growing and changing, this business will be following right along with me. Learning to go with the flow of life is very hard for this Capricorn at times, but I am finding my joy in each service that I now offer.

The first picture was taken in July 2021. This table was given to me by my soul sis. When I received it, I was doing a lot of work to reconnect with myself. It became a sacred spot for me in my home. At the time I was practicing a lot of self care and self compassion and finding out what that meant to me. This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever really had to do, because unfortunately (like many of us) it wasn’t something that I practiced regularly. So I often called in for back up in the form of some really special guides. The statues are The Blessed Mother and Quan Yin. Two beautiful guides that are so helpful in the self love journey. The crystals were chosen from my collection sitting with the roses from my garden. It was a place where I sat each day and honored myself.

Fast forward a few weeks to the second picture. This is my altar after the flood. The roses had died and I’m sure I moved some of the stones around (if you know me, you know redecorate daily), but for the most part it was the same. This all sat under 5+ feet of water, and this is how it stood after the water receded. The statues didn’t move and the small stones stayed where they were. This is where I sat every day and poured the love that I give to others into myself and it remained a sacred place. This is only one example of the magic and love that was gifted to us amongst the shock and grief of losing our home.

Today marks one year since the flood. As difficult as the last year was, I wouldn’t change a thing. There were many lessons tied into this one and whole new blank slate to let life be whatever it will be for us. Having the love and support of so many was humbling. You all helped us find our new home and kept our hearts filled while we recovered. We will never forget that.

Love transcends dimensions, separations, and division if you believe in it. When I think of the word, “magic”, it is surrounded by that feeling of true love. That devotion, love, and respect were in every part of my childhood, as I grew, and are with me now. My parents and brother are some of the most empathic, giving, respectful, and loving people you could ever know. Life wasn’t always perfect for us, and though we learned some really hard lessons in this life, we always have each other’s backs.

I post about this today as I connect to the devotion that my Dad had for his family and friends-not the sadness and grief surrounded by his passing seven years ago. You are never alone in this world, as lonely as it can feel sometimes. We are all blessed with this magic and love. Trust in it when you feel it 💚
