Hairball Awareness Day - ICK
How can something so gross come from such a cutie pie? Care to untangle the mystery of hairballs with us?
Hairballs are those curious little bundles of fur that our cats occasionally gift us. When cats groom themselves their barbed tongues catch loose hair, sometimes that hair passes through their digestive system, but sometimes it just accumulates in their stomachs and Voila - a hairball is born, a compact collection of fur that cats eventually cough up to keep their insides tidy.

Hairballs are usually harmless but they can sometimes indicate an underlying issue so be vigilant.
