American horse trainer and clinician, Joe Wolter, studied extensively with Ray Hunt, as well as Tom and Bill Dorrance, the originators of what has come to be known as “Natural Horsemanship.” He is widely considered to be among the best and purest examples of what these three legends of the horse world sought to impart. Known for his deep understanding of horses and his kind, thoughtful approach to

sharing his knowledge, Joe holds training clinics throughout North America, Europe and Australia. Before working for Ray Hunt and with the Dorrances, Joe cowboyed on large ranches throughout the western United States. He later trained and showed horses for the Four Sixes Ranch in Guthrie, Texas. Today, he operates his own facilities in Aspermont, Texas and Ballantine Montana.
