Reticulated pythons are famous for being the LONGEST snakes, but the trophy for the heaviest goes to the green anaconda. To put it into perspective , a 10 foot Reticulated python can weigh half as much as a 10 foot green anaconda due to their different builds. What’s even more impressive is the reticulated pythons amazing ability to swim. They are such great swimmers that they have been seen swimming far out at sea, which explains how they have colonized some smaller islands near south Asia🫨

Did you know: The Madagascar Collared lizard is primarily an arboreal lizard? This means they spend most of their time in trees. They will stay motionless on a tree trunk or fallen tree scanning the surrounding area for insects or other small lizards and use their lighting fast speed to chase down and subdue prey. Pretty cool! As with any pet , always do thorough research before purchasing a new reptile.

Ive had this happen to me ONCE!!!!

Hardest decision i have to make.

Blood pythons are one of those snakes that tend to be on the defense right out of the egg , and can scare some reptile people away. But given the proper care and patience they can have the same temperament of a ball python. Their build is comparable to if a Colombian boa and a ball python had a baby. Their size is quite admirable.

African fire skinks are always a favorite among reptile hobbyists, and it’s not hard to see why. These curious little skinks have quite the personality when given the proper care and attention. If you think this one is cute you should see the babies 🥰🥰🥰

Making a vivarium is half the battle, they still require maintenance as plants can over grow quite quickly!Luckily with our @junglehobbies mist king misting system, these plants will be able to bounce back easily.

What kind of gecko is that!?!? It’s none other than the Chinese cave gecko! These little geckos are a unique species of gecko that can be found by the entrances of small caves where the temperatures are cooler and the humidity is constant or can be found on the forest floor as well. There eyelids are moveable like that of a leopard geckos so they can actually blink!

Kinda looks like Mona the more I think about it. Spent 30 seconds frantically searching for this little black eyed tree frog just to realize he was staring at me the whole time. The audacity.

Blue tongue skinks are such cute lizards , and they honestly have some of the best personalities out there :)
