We just had the pleasure of meeting Annabelle, a ridiculously adorable rag doll kitty. She weighs 4 -- and 3 of that is foof. What a character! This was her first exam and she passed with flying colors.

People are often surprised to learn that The Helpful Heeler offers acupuncture. Then they sometimes chuckle and say, " My dog/cate would never stay still for something like that." You'd be surprised. Check out Minuit, a French bulldog with back and neck pain. Not only does she relax during her acupuncture treatments, but she often falls asleep.
Acupuncture can effectively treat a wide variety of issues, including post-surgical pain and anesthesia-related ileus; orthopedic injuries; soft tissue trauma; arthritis; cancer pain or treatment-associated side effects such as nausea; immune dysfunction; skin disease; gastrointestinal disorders; ocular and sinus problems; cardiac and respiratory conditions; and urogenital disorders.

Duke is so proud of himself for being the goodest boy for his annual exam. As with many aging dogs, Duke is losing some muscle mass in his hind legs. We provided a plan to help combat the problem and keep Duke on his feet for a long time to come.
