Beautiful miss Molly was really having a rough go and her parents were pretty worried about their 11 year old girl. They saw us talking about Wuffes and decided they’d give it a go. Molly is a completely different dog now- she is acting like she’s years younger and she is very clearly feeling better.

Five year old dachshund Meeko lost all function in his hind legs last year. His vet suspected he had a disc issue and his folks decided to give animal chiropractic a go. We are so happy they did- sweet Meeko is back to his happy healthy fully functioning self, yay! A big thanks to Dachshund Haus and Corgi Rescue for always preaching about chiropractic as an option for these weenies!

Fitness friday at Fit Dog Canine Fitness & Wellness, the boys were LOVING the giant new peanut to work on. Okay maybe they were really loving the cookies but the peanut was pretty sick too! 🐶

Miss 8 year old Phoebe was dealing with a limp in her left hind leg. You can see the shaking and the toe tapping in the left video while on the right she is moving and grooving. Phoebe was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and with some help we can see the change in her already, in the ease of her movements and her comfort level. Yahoo Phoebe!

Don’t let those sad puppy dog eyes fool you, Daisy is anything but! She’s a gorgeous 13.5 year old black mouth cur that used to love playing and going on walks. She’s really slowed down these last few months and her walks have become more of a one to two house slow sniff. After her first adjustment her dad tells us there was a huge difference. She walked at twice her most recent pace and wanted to check out a few more houses AND she played with the kitty. What a great way to start the week with such happy news!!

Handsome Leonardo injured his knee several months ago. At first he seemed to improve with rest and time, but then reinjured himself. Then his mom and dad tried a brace but that didn’t seem to make a difference. These last few months they’ve been getting him adjusted regularly and boy does he look great. Leonardo is ready for some fun in the snow and we are excited for him to enjoy some romping!

Lucky was all smiles and goofiness at his visit yesterday. Probably because he’s completely off all of his medication and he’s finally been given the go ahead to go back to being crazy! Back in October Lucky had a very significant pinched nerve situation in his neck. He was in serious pain, crying out pretty constantly, and unable to do most things. The biggest struggle with this little dude was when he felt better, he would overdo it and then have a step back in his healing. Thankfully his family powered through and here we are today, with a happy little man ready to romp and zoom around in the snow!

Sweet baby girl Dixie has a condition called chiari malformation, an uncommon condition that has some bizarre neurological symptoms including a head tilt, consistent scratching/flopping of her back leg, and in Dixie’s case not really caring for leash walks or things around her neck at all. We’ve known this little pumpkin since she was just teensy tiny, but it wasn’t until recently when she was diagnosed that a lot of her quirks made sense. Her mom reports that after her adjustment there was marked improvement in many of her symptoms. While we know this is a forever condition for Dixie, we are super excited knowing we may be able to help improve her time on this earth!

Rosie was rocking that Detroit Lions pride today at her chiro visit. She comes in just preventatively. Rescued as a stray in Detroit, she’s glad to no longer call the streets her home!

New year mean new year resolutions at Fit Dog Canine Fitness & Wellness! These hound dogs are back at it, working on their bodies for 2025. Who knows what this year will bring (we suspect lots of cookies!) 🐶

While we dearly miss our land puppies, we have been super fortunate to spend some of our holiday with all the native animals of the Galapagos. Between the sea turtles, the 150 year old tortoises, the sharks, the sea puppies (okay sea lions), it has certainly been an adventure. Wish we could sneak some of these 🦭 into our carryons! A big thank you to knowmadadventures and galapagos_safari_camp for making our holidays some of the most memorable.
