Foxwillow's Classic Dill- MFT c**t by The Brass Badger (Cotton Eyed Joe Y- Joker's Jest Frankee a Bright Light granddaughter). This c**t looks a lot like his sire and is going to be one gorgeous horse! Has a fantastic gait and resembles his grandsire, Cotton Eyed Joe Y in stature, substance and boy is he pretty!! This c**t has a pedigree full of greats bred by the best in the breed! A lot of people confuse these two. But here they are together! Same sire but different dams, both are registered Pleasure Saddle Horses. On the left, Shamshir FW- 1/4 Arab, 1/4 RMH, 1/2 Foxtrotter. On the right, Jaguar FW- 1/2 Paso Fino, 1/2 Foxtrotter. Would almost make a nice driving pair lol.

Hera is another homerun for our Arab/RMH mare and our MFT stallion! She is the third of this cross and maybe the best one yet! Gaited, athletic, beautiful head, substance and the sweetest disposition! She adores the human race and would love to just be come inside and cuddle on the couch! Unfortunately she is a horse and it doesn't work like that. Still, she is the kind that will look forward to your visits to the barn and becoming your best forever friend. She will be a smooth ride that has the Arabian style that will turn people's heads as you foxtrot on by! She is pure black with not a white spot on her so no worries on keeping her clean. This filly is the best and she deserves the best, do you qualify?

Khontessa FW- Born April 27, 2024. This stunning filly is out of a Khemosabi granddaughter that is Polish/Russian/Crabbett bred. Her sire is our super athletic and royally bred Foxtrotter stallion. We have discovered a golden cross between Arabs and Foxtrotters. This filly will be registered as a Pleasure Saddle Horse. They are athletic, smooth, intelligent, in your pocket and absolutely gorgeous. We started doing this to produce smoother gaited endurance/CTR prospects but some of them (like this filly) can turn on a dime and would excel at Gymkhana, Mounted Shooting, and working cows. Tess, as we call her, is a firebrand and will need a knowledgeable owner to curb her sass. She loves people and has learned her lessons well but she is intelligent enough to take advantage of an unsuspecting human. She is the best of this year's crop in my opinion. In The Beginning....

Our Gaited Horse adventure began more as a side hobby to our 20 year old Arabian breeding program. I was getting older and years of abuse to my poor body had resulted in back and neck issues that would cause me severe migraines every time I rode. Since I didn’t plan on giving up riding a friend suggested I try a gaited horse. I did and the rest is history.

I spent the first four years experimenting with the different Gaited Breeds and kept coming back to two- the Missouri Foxtrotter and the Paso Fino. Both had everything I love in a horse- smooth gaits, good attitudes, beauty and friendliness. But one breed had a little more...the Foxtrotter. They had size, were the easiest horses to train I have ever dealt with and they had PERSONALITY- natural born comedians! And the fact that they come in pretty much every awesome color was just icing!

It soon seemed silly to raise one breed and ride another so I phased out of the Arabians and started breeding Foxtrotters. And I haven’t looked back. I have found the breed of my heart and look forward to sharing them with everyone-they have been a well kept secret for too long so contact us to schedule a farm visit!
