Are you looking for a pair of boxers??? Well look no further because Diamond and Penny are the perfect pair. They are everything you want in an older couple. They are friendly, happy & playful. They love everyone they meet and are good with other dogs.

They need a loving home where they can continue to cuddle with each other and give each other kisses. Diamond & Penny are housetrained and they don’t need to be crated, because they have each other. They enjoy nice walks and sitting at the door watching everything outside.

Meet Dolf! This sweet boy showed up on a door step one night, and his owner never came forward. He is a gentle soul that is food motivated and eager to learn.

Dolf is a typical youngster and has a lot of energy. If he gets too excited, ignoring him calms him down. He loves to take daily walks of 1.5-2 miles, so he would be great for an active walker or maybe jogger. Are you looking for a champion??

Dolf plays ball in the yard and he has a new favorite toy: the rope. He does get a little mouthy in play but very gentle and he respects the No. He loves pig ears and bully sticks, as he does like to chew, but we have noticed he likes real as opposed to fake ones.

Jaxson here, checking in. It’s been a couple of weeks since my surgery on my paws, so I am ready to meet my forever people! My foster mom says that I am 74lbs of love!

You may think of me as old because I am 7, but I love to play with my toys. I am very gentle and have wonderful manners. I will sit nicely for you to put my leash on and have no issues walking around other animals. I also know how to stay and sit down, when asked to. I will not get up on the furniture, unless of course you want company. I am housetrained.

Let’s face it, I am the whole package! If you want to meet me, I am sure I can win you over. I have to go and get another toy to play with, so contact Barbara if you are interested. I hope to see you soon.

Do you recognize this dog? This senior male boxer was found on Route 22 in Bridgewater by Jat Software yesterday and brought to the shelter. The dog lacked identification via microchip or collar and is intact. If you know this dog or are its owner, please call the shelter at (908)725-0308.

Let me introduce myself to everyone, my name is Peabody!

I was found as a stray and they think I am about 6yrs old and full of Boxer love and wiggles.

I just got to my foster home over the weekend and I now have 2 boxers, a male and a female to play with. So far we are all getting along very well and even playing. I am enjoying human contact and love to give love. I am in your face giving kisses kinda man.

I am still settling in and getting used to being part of a family. My foster mom says she will give you an update soon, so keep an eye out.

Zeus is ADOPTED!!

Zeus has been adopted by the family who recently adopted Lucy. She is deaf and really needed a friend. We are happy that they both have each other. They are both going to be living their best life.

We can not help these wonderful dogs without the help of foster homes and the wonderful NJBR volunteers. Thank you to his foster family and the volunteers that helped them find their forever home.

Mixie was ADOPTED!!

Boy, she doesn't look spoiled at all LOL. We are so happy that Mixie found her forever home and is living a wonderful life with her new family.

Update: Adopted out

Once again we are reaching out for help fostering. Sadly this little girl was found as a stray and was not claimed. She has been sitting at the shelter for a month and they only have crates for the dogs. She has not even been given a name. Our volunteer went to meet her this weekend and said she is sweet, knows some commands and is playful.

We are looking for a foster with no other pets and kids over 12, we need to get to know about her so we can match her up with the right home.

Please seeing her stuck in a crate is heartbreaking, but we can't move her without a place to go.

Hi I’m Zoe! My name is Greek for “life”. My life didn’t start out too easy but luckily someone found my friend Zach and me wandering around together. We waited at the shelter, but no one came.

Now I’m in a foster home where a new and better chapter of life has begun for me. My foster mom says I’m a sweet girl who is house trained, knows 3 commands (so far), walks well on a leash, takes treats easily, likes meeting new people, and likes to cuddle. Now I’m just waiting for my adopted life to begin.
