** OnQ Siberians is not currently taking any new customers. We are finishing up the dogs in our program, who have Service Dog homes waiting for them, and taking a short break to start our next generation of Demonstration Dogs. We will be working to title dogs in CGC, TD, &WPD. During this time, we will not be taking applications for dogs unless placement is needed AFTER Jan, 1 2017, new customers, or helping people to raise funds to get dogs from our programs.... The reason for this, is that we are returning to our original mission statement and ONLY sharpening the natural gifts that each dog presents through precursor testing. We will then seek out clients who need a dog proficient in EXACTLY what the trained dogs available excel at naturally... We will NOT force train dogs to do jobs that they do not want to do... We will also no longer accept requests for "Started Dogs" to be owner trained, and we will NOT take requests based on aesthetics.... Clients will get the dog that matches their needs, they will NOT have a choice in which dog they get(ALL Siberians are beautiful!!). If a client turns down placement based on aesthetics, they will be removed from the program and no refunds will be given... Also, all placements will depend on home welfare checks by 3 local agencies(NO EXCEPTIONS!). You may have up to 2 pre-existing pets HOWEVER, the pets must pass 3 separate evaluations (2 in home, 1 outside the home) and an exam by a DVM clearing them of communicable disease, to insure that they have a temperament that does not endanger the health or training of the Service Dog placed into the home where they live. Please do not be discouraged by our change back to our original training &placement policies. We enjoyed a HIGH success rate following this simple formula and look forward to placing many more highly skilled, loyal Service Dogs in homes to be loved and cherished for the assistance they provide their handlers.
