Narcotics:
If you’re looking for drug-sniffing dogs, Battery K9 Services LLC offers narcotics detection services. These highly trained K9 teams are available for contract to various entities, including rehabilitation centers, clinics, hospitals, and halfway homes, private residences and schools.
Our certified K9 handlers and dogs can detect a range of narcotics, including ma*****na, co***ne, M**A (ecstasy), he**in, P*P, fentanyl and methamphetamine. They are also trained to identify derivatives and compounds related to these substances.
Importantly, Battery K9 Services operates independently of law enforcement. Their findings are kept confidential, and any further steps (such as notifying law enforcement) are at the client’s discretion.

Explosives:
Our explosives K9 teams are used before and during concerts, festivals and sporting events for the detection of explosives odors and fi****ms. Explosives detection K9’s can detect over 20 target odors and are updated on new explosives odors regularly.

My name is Michael Shirey, I am a retired police officer and the former team leader for Montgomery County SWAT- western region. I recently finished a 13-week K9 training with "ScentworksK9 Academy" utilizing my personal dogs, “Goose” for explosives and “Freiheit” for narcotics detection. I do contract work for "ScentworksK9" and have formed my own company, "BatteryK9 Services LLC.”

Our company is not affiliated with law enforcement but is a civilian business doing detection work for rehabilitation centers, schools, workplaces and private homes. We also have explosives K9 teams that are used before and during concerts, festivals and sporting events for the detection of explosives odors and fi****ms.
