The Blue Angels start flying in SF today and will be active Friday-Sunday. It’s no fun for animals! Please keep your pets safe and secure during the very loud noise; it can cause anxiety and make them want to flee.

Buster taking in his second combo appointment of acupuncture and cold laser therapy. We didn’t think he would be jazzed about it at first, so we started with just cold laser therapy for a few sessions. With that, we gained his trust and he learned that these treatments really help with his comfort and mobility!

VCA San Francisco Veterinary Specialists (SFVS) will be closing it’s doors effective December 18th. It is with a heavy heart that we announce this closure as they have been a beloved staple to the veterinary community for decades.

For clients that have upcoming appointments with the specialty services at SFVS or have long term care at there, please contact them for your records and referrals.

The SFVS emergency services were discontinued a few weeks ago. We previously updated our emergency practice referral list located at the bottom of all email communications and auto-reply correspondence to reflect that change.

Something to consider when traveling.

The Department of Transportation won't require airlines to accommodate animals other than legitimate service dogs. The decision comes after reports of fraudulent service animal claims.
