This is Greg holding an oversized lobster that was thrown back into the sea due to Maine's conservation measures. He was working with our son hauling traps in federal waters below Monhegan Island. Today, instead of hauling traps, Greg and Andy have gone to Augusta to participate in a peacefull protest against putting many windmills in the very area where this lobster was caught. We do not believe that the Gulf of Maine should be used as a wind farm that threatens so many species of marine life, birds and the fishing industry. When you hear about this issue on the news please understand why it is being protested.

January 12 and another calm day for lobstering. Greg is out 4th man with Andy today on the F/V Ruth Hannah, a repeat of yesterday. A day like today makes it easier to haul traps in federal waters. We thank everyone for their support of the Maine lobstering industry.
