This may not look like much but to gain a connection with this guy is everything. With even the smallest amount of pressure he disconnects and flees to the point of smashing into, breaking and attempting to go through the round pen. Slowly but surely gaining trust with this 8 year old Andalusian rescue gelding.

Finally getting some nice forward out of Hera the 8 year old Friesian broodmare I started a couple months ago.

Desensitizing shenanigans with Anthony!

1 week down. 3rd halter session, 1st ground work session, 1st time leading, 1st time outside of her pen, 1st time being groomed, 1st fly mask. This filly is so brave, willing, intelligent, interested and personable. 🙌🏻💕

Working on conquering anxieties and some major pain response issues from an old injury with this OTTB mare. Goal #1 is trust, confidence and forward movement. 💪🏻

Hera has been quite sticky getting started. She is an 8 year old Friesian Sporthorse broodmare who had very little handling when my client purchased her. We finally got her freed up by taking her out of the arena and on to the trail.

3 year old I started last year ponying a 20 year old I restarted this year.

Day 1 Part 2 with Chevy. She came with a small pasture wound on her right hind and needed a shot of Excede so we proceeded with intro to halter breaking.

A little desensitizing training for Anthony. He has come a long way from the ultra reactive, dangerously flighty boy he use to be. He’s now allowing others to ride him and is better able to manage his anxieties.

Working on lope transitions with Nugget. This boy has come so far.

Proper hobble training has so many benefits. This horse got hung up in thorny vines last week and after he realized he was stuck he stopped and stood for me to dismount and untangle him.

Less than 30 days on this 2 year old pleasure mule. Coming along nicely.
