A majestic bald eagle showed up at the farm this morning and stayed for the day—apparently injured and unable to fly. Many thanks to Malinda for letting me know he was there and helping to track down someone that could help, to Rayna for managing the electric fences and assisting the rescue team, and to Carolyn, Sarah, Jess and James for their help…and Owl Moon Raptor Rescue for assisting this guy (or gal?) who is now on his way to be evaluated and rehabbed. And to Stormy for supervising our visitor!

We all feel honored that he chose Summerfield as a safe spot to rest and that we could play a part in getting him help! ♥️🦅♥️

For my avid equestrian readers, I need to go ahead and write these. I think I could seriously help a lot of people out by supplying them with this sort of handy information.🤔🤣
