Lucky Me Doggie Daycare Ocala Ocala’s only completely open play, kennel-free doggie daycare since 2007. We are not a "facility" but truly established to be your dog's 2nd home.

We also offer puppy training, nutrition consultations, in-home pet checks, and behavior support. We believe every dog deserves a home away from home and every dog deserves a fun place to come and play for the day while mom and dad are at work. We are more than just a kennel or boarding facility and have been Ocala's only kennel free, open play doggie daycare for the past 13 years. We believe in th

e whole dog and what makes them happy and content. It's more than just a comfy place to sleep. At Lucky Me Doggie Daycare we provide a safe and fun place for your furry child to play and socialize with other dogs. As you would think of a daycare for children, we are very much the same...but for our furry kids. Friendships are formed. Boundaries are learned. Excess energy is expended.

7/17/24 Update: Slurpee is now in foster care!

Attention Small Dog Lovers:

We are in urgent need of a loving foster home for a small dog named Slurpee. Slurpee is around 3 years old and unfortunately suffered a broken pelvis and other injuries after being hit by a car near a 7-11 store.

Slurpee needs a safe, calm and quiet environment where she can heal over the next 12-16 weeks. She is experiencing some pain, so she may not be up for cuddling right now, but could really use the tender care of someone with a big heart.

If you or someone you know can open your home and heart is ready to foster, please call us at 352-671-8700. Your support can make a world of difference in Slurpee’s recovery journey.

If you aren’t already a foster parent with MCAS and would like to learn more, please visit: animalservices.marionfl.org/animal-center/how-can-i-help.

Thank you all for your kindness and compassion! 🙏❤️

Now offering week day, in-home dog checks!
Limited area only, for right now.

SE Ocala (SE 36th Ave areas, Baseline Rd area north of Maricamp, Rolling Greens, Fort King, Belleaire, Huntington, Porter east of Baseline, map area in enclosed red line).

This will be starting out as week day only for those at work who need their pup checked on and let out once or twice a day. In the last 18 years of having the doggie daycare I’ve seen many of my regular pups no longer able to get into a car due to age or disability and can’t come anymore. I’ve been wanting to add this for a while but was just waiting for the right time.

Keeping it simple for now. Visits can be scheduled 10:30am-1:30pm.
For more info call or text me at 3352-789-0225
Thank you for sharing!😊

I hope I was able to respond to anyone who had messaged me regarding upcoming sleepover requests. So sorry. 😢 ❤️🐶

Transporting this tiny princess today. It’s so sad what some of these dogs go through before they come to us. She was pregnant before the age of two and also heartworm positive and near death. I can’t imagine the strain on her innocent little body. Thank you American Brittany Rescue, Inc for helping her. We’ll see you soon Teri Benisek! Thank you for fostering her!

This little guy is now up for adoption. I’d love to keep him available only to friends or friends of friends for now and would appreciate all the sharing you can do.
He’s a sweet sweet little boy. Looks to be about 12 weeks old. He’s had his first round of vaccinations and I will continue with proper puppy vax schedules. I will also keep him on dewormer while he’s with me.
He does awesome in a crate. Doesn’t make a peep unless he has to go out. Sleeps all night. Is learning to like the water. Loves and does well with kids and other dogs. Overall I would say he’s more chill than the average puppy. He’s just discovered his bark so that’s fun lol. I call him Sam/Sammy and he responds to it already. He listens when I call him. He’s definitely an easy keeper right now.
For friends I am not asking for any adoption fee however there is a brief questionaire and I will do a vet reference check as well as a video home visit. I also will require proof of prepaid neuter at your vets office or clinic.
Guessing his breed is really throwing me off. First glance I thought maybe typical pitty mix but the more I’m around him if there is any, it’s very distant. Does not have any pitty pup personality at all. The brindle color looks like a boxer brindle. His legs, snout and body are longer than a pitty. Whatever he is he’s stinkin cute. Give him lots of shares please!

Just wondering if there’s anyone that would be interested in doing a leg of a transport from ocala to Tampa Saturday for a senior dog going to foster care down south. I would normally do this leg but I am taking my foster Ziggy to his new home Saturday. Below is Bo ❤️

Kitten season is hard for shelters. We're overwhelmed by the number of litters gracing our doors. The only way for us to take care of all of them is through fostering.

Fostering is a temporary commitment and allows time for kittens to grow and thrive in a safe and loving environment. Once they are at least eight weeks of age, we can sterilize them and find them permanent homes.

We are preparing now, which includes collecting supplies and organizing our foster list. It is inevitable that we will need more foster homes than we currently have on file. We are asking you now to submit your foster application, so we can call you when we need you to take a litter. For all current foster families, thank you for your dedication and expect to hear from us soon... 💕

We are now accepting applications for Cash!

He will turn 2 on April 4th, we are looking for a active family to adopt Cash. Applicants with Physical fenced in yards will only be considered.

Cash is gun shy.

Cash is a big teddy bear and is is very social. You can take him with you everywhere! He would love a canine brother or sister close in age to play with and keep him company. He has the best temperament and is very sweet with other dogs, shares toys and his bed.
He knows all basic commands and heels on walks, so walking this athlete of 52 lbs is easy!

Please read his bio, if you believe you could give him a home that is Forever, here is the link to apply:

I am loving our 2 little fosters. They are the sweetest. The brown and white will go to his new home in a week. The orange and white will be available in another week or so. Fostering is the most rewarding thing I’ve done in a long time. If you’ve never considered it please do. There are many rescues out there desperate for help in caring for the pups they rescue or take in due to surrender. As a foster mom/dad it’s the best feeling ever when you see the end result when they’re finally matched to their forever family. If you’re interested I’m happy to share contact info for several rescues and even shelters. A dog doesn’t deserve to be stuck in a cage for weeks, months….they should be in a foster home until their match is found ❤️

Our Story

Since we began in 2007, we’ve lived by the belief that every dog deserves a home away from home and that every dog deserves a fun place to come and play for the day while mom and dad are at work. Unlike most commercial pet boarding and kennels, our goal is to maintain a welcoming 2nd Home. We have been Ocala's only kennel free, open play daycare for the past 11 years. Every dog goes through a new dog evaluation to determine if an open play situation is right for him. We work very hard to provide a loving, safe, family-like environment for our pups. We believe in the whole dog and what makes them happy and content. Every dog becomes a family member around here and is loved like our very own.
