Lucky Me Doggie Daycare Ocala Ocala’s only completely open play, kennel-free doggie daycare since 2007. We are not a "facility" but truly established to be your dog's 2nd home.

We also offer puppy training, nutrition consultations, in-home pet checks, and behavior support. We believe every dog deserves a home away from home and every dog deserves a fun place to come and play for the day while mom and dad are at work. At Lucky Me Doggie Daycare we provide a safe and fun place for your furry child to play and socialize with other dogs. As you would think of a daycare for children, we are very much the same...but for our furry kids. Friendships are formed. Boundaries are learned. Excess energy is expended.

In need of a pup transport from Ocala to Orlando area on Friday. She’s a beautiful , sweet loving Brittany. I’m going to pick her and her sister up today and I need someone to help her reach south Florida. All we need is from Ocala to Orlando area. Message me or call me for more details or if you or someone you know can help. ❤️ This is an emergency rescue situation where she’ll go to foster to be loved on for a while.

Meet Leah. She was given to a lady a couple of years ago and she found her a permanant home. The family who’s had Leah came into some hard times and returned her. So Leah is now looking for her forever home. Somewhere along the way she has suffered some neglect and possibly some abuse. Right now she is scared and is not wanting to come out of her shell. She gets along with other animals and is super sweet and humble. She may have some issues with males but it’s uncertain if it’s just one particular male (due to abuse) or all males. Please consider giving Leah a chance. If not, please share. I am willing to help in any way I can to help acclimate her and provide some time at doggie daycare to build some confidence and let her experience dogs and humans in a positive way.

How has 17 years gone by so quickly!? I love and cherish every dog that has entered my heart and home during that time. I hate to do this but I’ve had to raise rates this year. I’m attaching the updated rates and apologize in advance. I like to keep my rates affordable for everyone. But the dang electric has been a doozie this year! Thank you for sharing so everyone has the new info 😊❤️🐶

Tracker is looking for a home. Super sweet. A little timid at first but warms up quickly. Surrendered due to illness and owner can’t keep him. Gets along with other dogs but likes to chase cats. Please share 😊❤️🐶

Going to Cedar Key Saturday to help where needed. They’re desperate for help with clean up. I’d like to put a pet kit together to take with me. Bags of food, heart worm meds of flea meds. Anything pet related. Obviously you know where my heart is lol. Intentions are to help with clean up but want to have any pet needed items available if needed. It always brings me so much happiness when I have even just a tiny part in their forever. The Brittany fosters we had, Monica Rutt nailed it once again. The love, nurturing and teaching she provides the puppies is outstanding. To care for 3+ at a time takes a lot. I had 2 of them come spend just a couple of days with me as they moved forward to home but what a breeze they were for me thanks to her investment in them. GBD Finn deserves a medal too! Little orange and white Benny has been home for a week now and is so loved. This sweet little liver, Bindi girl had a way of crawling into our hearts a little deeper than others. She’ll be missed but oh my goodness will she be loved so much! Please choose adoption over breeders. You’ll never be sorry. American Brittany Rescue, Inc Share some love and visit their site to donate. Even small donations go a long way. The support that they give their volunteers is outstanding and that’s what makes me do what I do even when I don’t have the time.

Our Story

Since we began in 2007, we’ve lived by the belief that every dog deserves a home away from home and that every dog deserves a fun place to come and play for the day while mom and dad are at work. Unlike most commercial pet boarding and kennels, our goal is to maintain a welcoming 2nd Home. We have been Ocala's only kennel free, open play daycare for the past 11 years. Every dog goes through a new dog evaluation to determine if an open play situation is right for him. We work very hard to provide a loving, safe, family-like environment for our pups. We believe in the whole dog and what makes them happy and content. It's more than just a comfy place to sleep. At Lucky Me Doggie Daycare we provide a safe and fun place for your furry child to play and socialize with other dogs. As you would think of a daycare for children, we are very much the same...but for our furry kids. Friendships are formed. Boundaries are learned. Excess energy is expended.
