Shelby Shelter is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit corporation dedicated to humanely reducing cat and dog overpopulation. By educating the public about the need to spay and neuter their pets and strays; providing access information to low-cost spay/neuter services for stray, homeless and abandoned animals; helping members in their efforts to place adoptable pets in loving homes; and advocating non-lethal population control.

Update, this family has been bailed out of doggie jail thanks to an amazing foster family stepping up for them! Pics to come soon. ❤️ 🐾

Mom and puppies are scheduled to be euthanized as they are in an overcrowded shelter!

We need a committed foster family that can take mom(3 years) and her 9 puppies(they are 6 weeks old).

We will cover all vetting expenses but we need a safe place for them to go while they finish up their vetting.

We need a commitment ASAP for them, otherwise we are unable to help and get them off deathrow and out of the shelter.

We are in search of a rescue that can possibly help with these puppies. These strays are currently being fostered by the finder who has graciously agreed to adopt the mom. We will work on a mutually agreeable mode of transportation.
We understand so many rescues are full, however, if you have capacity, please reach out.
