ADOPTED Tequila is going to Washington to be with a sibling of hers and lots of room to play. Congratulations to
ADOPTED Zilla is going to northern Wisconsin to a large property. Congratulations!!
We received over 20 great applications - all were reviewed and the owner chose the homes she felt would be best for the girls. After the applicants' vet references were checked, the owner talked with them on the phone to finalize her decision. I think she did great. Transportation is being done by the adopters.
French Brittany Rescue, LLC will keep all applications for 6 months.
Thank you to everyone - keep trying - these were two very exceptional dogs to be offered.
Tequilla (left) and Zilla (right).
Both dogs are spayed females and currently located in SW Montana. Adoption fee is $150 each. Please send email to [email protected] for application to adopt. They are safe with their current owner and she is willing to travel to meet new owners. Both dogs are AKC registered. Most of the issues with the owner are excessive energy and killing her chickens.
This is a great opportunity to adopt a beautiful young EB.
Bios are below:
Tequila, I call her Quila is a striking tri color, delightful personality, intuitive, smart, great with other dogs and children. She was 4 in September, spayed, chipped, E collar trained, listens, obeys, and runs like the wind. She will relax with you while you watch TV, respectful of your time but she will jump gently on you asking if you are ready for a walk or would you give her a little attention or a treat. She’s never aggressive but she will kill chickens and bring them to you proudly. I would like to see her in a home that has a fenced yard, but also supervised freedom outside the yard for more exercise, allows her in the house with a dog door. She’s crate trained but I never keep her in one, she rides well in a vehicle.
Zilla will be 4yrs old in April. She is as soft as a teddy bear, eager to please, loves affection, high energy with a prey drive to go with it. E collar trained, spayed, chipped, obeys well, good with other dogs and children, never aggressive unless it’s on a bird. She gets very excited when I bring the gps e collar out waits for my “ok let’s go!” and out the door she goes into the woods for a run. I would like to see her in a home that has a fenced yard but ideally supervised freedom outside the yard for more exercise, allows her in the house with a dog door. She’s crate trained but I never keep her in one, she rides well in a vehicle. Once she connects with you, she won’t want to take her eyes off you, very sweet.
