Our cage was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. The internal bolts snapped from the 200mph winds, so they tell us the only thing stopping the frame from collapsing, at this point, is the screens!

As most of you know we got hit super hard by Hurricane Ian Sept 29, 2022. We still have not recovered. Replacing the roof was the 1st priority ( for which my insurance gave me $55.05 toward my $30,000 roof) , but another huge item was the pool cage. So far, I have not been able to swing getting it replaced.

We entered a contest for winning a pool cage replacement for Veterans from Absolute Aluminum. Today we found out we are one of 3 finalists. They will have online voting. No stories to go with the 3 finalists, just a name and pic. The contest will go live Monday 4/8/24. I hope you will all take a minute to help us win by voting for my honey, KARL K. Babies just turned 6 weeks. Someone who’d committed to a male never sent their deposit and is not returning my calls. So I feel it’s safe to say I’m moving forward with making him available to another loving home. I have ONE MALE available. Go home date is March 2 or March 3.
