So Bark was notified if we could help this sweet baby boy puppy
I am out of town but will still put him up. See if anyone could help.
Details will follow
This sweet pup is about 4 months. Taken out of a bad situation but rescuer can not keep. So we need a place so he doesn’t wind back up in another awful place and scenario. Not sure what he is. Looks like speckles. Poor baby. Bark needs a foster. He will get vetted. Just need a place for him.

Well, it’s almost a new month so must get a post up. July is barks Month. 10 year anniversary this month
Hard to believe. Where the hell did 10 years slip off too?
Anyhow, in honor of that Bark had a celebration mid month and this picture is what Bark is all about. If u knew these two pups These two precious Pitties that’s all I need to say. They are the beginning of Bark and they are Barks Mascots. Gone but never forgotten. I know I won’t forget them . This beautiful piece of work was done by Dusty Reir Invictus Tattoo and he did yet another outstanding piece.
Hercules and Bentley. Two very different pits but yet so much in common , you two shall always be in my memory and always a big part of Bark

BARK has come into some kittens. ITs been a few years since we had kittens or cats in the rescue. We stopped when Petland went away. WE had no longer a outlet for them. Well , this past week 5 kittens needed rescued. Or they ran risk of being smashed in the street of a busy one. So BARK scooped them up. After getting them home, we soon realized they were infested with fleas. Bloody infested. Bathing and Dawn later, we got them settled in and fed. They have now been bathed twice, wormed and had some flea medicine put on them. They are doing ten times better than a few days ago. They are now safe. They will go to foster this week. They are the POPEYE GANG

and Sweet Pea.
Three boys two girls. The one GIrl Sweet pea is tiny.. She is showe in the towel picture with a hand there. She is super tiny. Shew may need to go to the vet this week. They are all doing well Tho. Thee are looking for a fur ever home. They didnt come from too good a place. Outside with seemingly no mother around. On their own. and starving.
They are using the litterbox and eating some good groceries.
They will be vetted and fixed and there will be a small adoption fee. TO help with the expenses.
If anyone wants to donate we would appreciate that as well. Kittens took a lot when we used to do them. Its even more expensive these days so its tougher. The last litter of kittens BARK helped a couple months ago. costs the resuce over 300 for 6 kittens. So its not cheap. WE have to spay and neuter ONly way to fix the problem. or even touch it. SO A LOt has been going on and Finally getting around to posting some rescue dogs and even some kittens. Yep Kittens.....
FIRST We have THOR A sweet Blue nose brindle Blue Pittie. He is 8 months old and he is fully vetted and ready for his new home. He does require a fence and a Privacy or something like privacy would be great for him. He gets along with other dogs, cats but not Chickens. So if you have them , probably not a good fit. He has been in foster for a little while. Has been subjected to various things. He has been to Peak Training where he will undergo also a couple more one on one training sessions. I myself have been working with him and he is good on his leash, he sits he will do down command and come. We have been working on this for a while. He is doing great. he is crate trained and housetrained as well. He is just a tiny bit standoffish until he knows you and you have sat down with him and interacted. He is a great pup and he is looking for his furever home. His ADOPTION FEE has been Sponsored so there is adoption application and then a meet greet and home check. All the likes and shares from this post, but not one person cane to see Cream today:( She is so sad that nobody seems to want to adopt her. Please come meet her!! She will put a big smile on your face!!
Our sweet girl Cream is still waiting for her forever home!! She is our Pet of the Week!! She is extremely friendly, but gets overlooked because she's missing an eye from an untreated cherry eye. Please come see this sweet and happy girl!! She would make a fantastic addition to your family!! Please share!!

Its been about 24 hours since you gained those Angel Wings and left my arms. Oh Miss Pete what a sweet girl you were. Miss Pete passed arpund 1215 Monday July 8, 2024. She was Almost 14 years old. She was 13 years, 10 months and 12 days shy of making it to 14. She was born at my place 20August 2010 on a summer fair day to her mom SUGAR. Sugar was a rescue who came to me when I was still just rescuing. I didn't have an Official RESCUE at that time. She came from Union City area and was going to be euthanized. She was a red nose red and white, and she was a sweet girl. She had babies not long after she was with me. She had 4 of the sweetest cutest babies. I had names picked for all of them. I thought two were gonna be boys by looking at them and two would be girls. But WOW to my amazement she had all GIRLS. And so all of those names went by the wayside except for MISS PETE Originally Petey from the little rascals. so we added Miss and so she was christened that day long ago. And was she an ever sweet girl. When she got about a year old she seemed to not be able to hear and she went for close to a year not hearing not barking until one day she started barking at her buddy Miss Zena and she never stopped. She loved people and going to the Nursing home where my Dad was at was fun for her. She loved to meet all the people and see them. WE would dress up for Halloween and she would love all the attention. She was just always there. I was never very far from Miss Pete. Always went with me in the car. She was with me when my Dad Passed in 2019, Again she was with me and Randy in Arizona and when we came back she stayed close to me. She was there again when I lost my mom in 2022 and stayed close to me as well. All of those tragedies and losses she was always with me. As the years went on she slowed down some. Seem to lose her hearing again. He best Buddy Miss Zena took sick as she was 16 when she passed and when we lost Miss Zena in Dec 23 two days before Christmas, Miss Pete seemed to be grieving. She had lost some weight. After January of the new year 2024, she seemed to really really slow down until the day she was dragging her right leg. When I took her to the vet and the many exrays they took, they
diagnosed her with hip dysplasia of the right hip. So she seemed ok at first but then it seemed her left leg was not acting like it was working either. It appeared she had no movement in either leg. I did everything for her. Shots, I bought a laser therapy hand held to laser on her every day. She was on her meds. I made her comfortable . I even got her a wheel chair wheels and she took to it in the beginning but then she seemed scared of it and it wasnt working. She was sad I know as she couldnt go out like she always had. She loved being outside just like I did. I felt like she was bedfast but a dog not a person. On Sunday she started having the bleeding problems and we spent up all night with her. She was so uncomfortable and miserable. Nothing I did seemed to help her. I called the vet early and they go me in . The outcome wasn't good. I cried all the way to the vet because I knew in my heart it was the end. The end of an Era. I would have to let her go. That was going to be the hardest thing I had to do. I didn't want her to leave just yet but I knew I couldn't let my sweet pup suffer. So after the vet Dr. Laura Rumpke of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic told me just what was going on I couldn't hold her any longer. We had a good life, I gave the best care anyone person could have given, It just want enough now. Her genes are ultimately responsible. Her background. She passed with me laying right beside her my head on hers. How sweet was that. My words of love and thanking her for being the best sweet girl I could have ever had. Giving the breed a good name. Loving me as she did and I would see her again on the other side at the bridge. Tell Hercules I love him too. Goodbye Sweet Girl. Goodbye Miss Pete. I love You!!

Bark is at it again. The baker is in the house. Baking up some good things. Lemon bars to die for….
Apple pies, and of course anything else u might want Bark needs to raise a little money. Vetting is getting out of control and until our BIG fundraiser down the road we need some help ….
So 10 dollar pies 8 dollars for the dish of lemon bars (8by8) dish bigger 10.00. Of course a donation of whatever is great too. Just setting a price to kinda go by

Bark was contacted by the owners of this sweet boy. It seems they had to move and they are now in an apartment and This boy BOB is not fit for that type of place. He is a year old neutered been around other dogs housebroke. He is looking for a fur ever home. If you are a DANE lover this boy looks to be a fit for you. BARK Was contactd in regards to this sweet Girl who is in some need temporarily. This girl is JOSIE She is about 2 years old. She is a Emothional Support dog for a young man who was military and was in Afghanistan. He has been in Miami Valley Hospital and is heading to Cleveland for some rehab, etc. He will be away for approx 2 months. He needs someone who can temporarily keep JOSIE until he gets back out. His mother is not able becasue she has cats and that is the only thing that JOSIE isnt good with . So she needs someone that has no felines. She also needs a fenced in area as she could run. She was found running loose so she is used to doing that. She is great with other dogs and love to go to the dog park. This situation is important to me that help is found as I am a Veteran as well Retired Navy and I was in Bahrain. So looking for a temp foster. They are willing to pay for her food, etc. Even a boarding situation would work if Boarding would waive the boarding fee and cut this young man a
break. He defended our country so we all can walk free. Now its time to return a favor. So, he can keep his pup JOSIE. If you can help please contact BARK so we can get something figured out and set up. So he won't have to worry, or his mother have to worry.

This little sweet boy is in need of a furever home. Bark was contacted. He lost his owner and now he needsa anew home. His name is Ozzy 5 years old neutered, up to date on shots. He is a double dapple dachshund. He has a huge overbite. And he does have some vision issues. He is ok with kids but prefer not . Has been around other dogs. and cats. This sweet boy has been in rescue for about a month
He is doing good. He is good with cats, kids dogs. He lives his people. Bark is looking for a furever home for him. He is 8 months old. He will be neutered next week. Then will be fully vetted. He is underg a little training. He has had a rough background in just his short time on earth , he deserves some love and a family of his own. He is crate trained. Housebroke. HE WENT HOME. On SATURDAY!!

Bark has this sweet little guy.
Hard to believe he doesn’t have someone looking for him.
It’s plain to see he is missing his human. He cries and cries.
He seems housebroke too.
