Our Story
Birds of a Feather offers home away from home pet sitting for all types of birds and exotic pets. We started this adventure after meeting several like-minded people through the veterinary hospital Katie works at. Many people solicited a boarding-type service for their feathered friends that was not in a business/facility type atmosphere and Katie couldn’t help but offer up her home. We sit not only parrots, but other critters such as rabbits, pocket pets and reptiles!
We offer pet sitting in our home for your feathered friends while you are away or in need of a temporary space for them. Katie, Glen and Blake all take care of and spend time with the birds throughout the day. Occasionally we will make house calls in special situations. We have a large variety of cages available, but owners are always welcome to bring their companion’s own cage if it would make them more comfortable.
We are located in Southwest Boise, but service most of the Treasure Valley and surrounding areas. References available upon request!
