Strange Kennel Cough update:

There are now 13 states in addition to Florida where owners are seeing an enhanced kennel cough. At HHDR, we mandate that the Bordetella vaccine be administered TWICE a year instead of once at many other boarding facilities. We have NOT seen any cases at Happy Hound Dog Resorts, either locations.

The Bordetella vaccine is only 80-90% effective, so we make sure we clean with Bleach in the floor scrubber, Odoban in mop buckets and other cleaning tools for the front and kennels.

You know your dogs, if you sense your dog is not feeling well, take them to their veterinarian for a checkup. We hope to see you all soon.

We have been in business for 7 ½ years at the Shirley Ave location and 4 years at the Beach Blvd location because of our care and love for your pets.
