Had a great time last week with my favorite group of ladies, Better Businesses of the Outer Banks. We are a small group of women entrepreneurs. We get together twice a month and help out each other’s businesses as well as sharing helpful information and of course forming friendships. While working on the latest Embark challenge as soon as they said “symmetrical” I knew I wanted to go to Bodie Lighthouse, it’s long been my favorite, partially for the symmetry of it. Lucky for me Simmi and her mom were game and met me down there for a fun little evening session 😍

UPDATE: Ozzy has been adopted 😊

Everyone meet Ozzy 🐾 this handsome guy is a Great Pyrenees/Golden-doodle. He is only three months old and expected to be over 100 pounds. If you have experience with the breed and are looking for a very large best friend come by the shelter and meet Ozzy 🤍🐶😍

Sterling and Greta Garbo are about 7 weeks old and are running into some health concerns and in this environment it is very hard to keep our eyes on them as much as they need it. Puppy preschool was a big hit! Thank you to Scottie MacConachie for coming all the way from Ohio to teach this class. Thank you to Swells'a Brewing Beer Company for allowing us to hold it in their yard! They are the coolest dog friendly establishment in town!! Looking forward to doing more classes like this this year!

If I didn’t have so many dogs already, I would take them in a heartbeat.

Maggie and Snuggles were groomed by yesterday and are feeling so much better today! We barley recognized them when they returned. These two have completely come out of their shell and Maggie always reminds Snuggles everything is ok. We are hopeful we can find these two a forever home together 🫶🏼 if you are interested in adopting please call the shelter or come by and meet them 💛
