Equine Balanced Bodywork

Blending a variety of bodywork modalities is so beneficial! Before the session with Calypso, when lightly palpating his lumbar area he had significant visible muscle spasms from his sacrum to withers. Using craniosacral and massage we released blocked energy and restriction in his lower thoracic and lumbar vertebra, released trigger points and muscle pull patterns to relieve muscle tension and fascial restrictions along the major muscles of his back. After the session, Calypso is more relaxed and no more muscle spasms when palpating the lumbar area. A balanced horse is a happy horse!

Holistic Heart Centered Bodywork

Each session is as unique as the animal. A variety of modalities are blended into each bodywork session, including; craniosacral, massage, tissue mobilization, myofascial release, TTouch, as well as herbal and whole food nutrition resources. The goal is to bring balance to our animal companions and empower you, as their guardian, to continue to facilitate the healing work on your own. At the end of each session, I spend time with you teaching basic techniques that can be done between sessions to deepen your bond with your animal and maintain health and balance.

Nicole is a certified Equine and Canine Massage Therapist and Body Worker. She attended the Rocky Mountain School for Animal Acupressure and Massage and completed their Therapeutic, Sport, and Advanced massage programs. She’s also certified in Visionary Equine Craniosacral through the CranioConnection and tissue mobilization through Equestricare. Nicole is a life long student and is dedicated to continuing her education to deepen her understanding and enhance her skills so she can better serve her clients. She enjoys sharing this knowledge with you and when teaching Advanced Equine and Canine Massage courses at Rocky Mountain School for Animal Acupressure and Massage.
