The owner had left me a note on the door.
We exchanged couple text messages.
I sure hope he will do what he promised to do… get his cat neutered
Again thank you everyone. Before asking your help, I checked all possible site for missing cat and I didn’t see any. When I see intact male cat, I want to act fast. They can get so many females pregnant in just few days.

Looks like I was wrong. Someone is looking for this cat. I replied to the owner saying that it is irresponsible not to fix cats.
We will never get feral/stray cat population under control, when people don’t care how important it is to spay and neuter.

I talked to the Cannon Valley and here is the breakdown of the cost.
-Neutering is $290-320
-2 doses of dewormer is $26
- exam is $61
The grand total 🟰 $377-407

I’m not trying to make money here, just trying to help. All the checks can be written out for Cannon Valley

This sweet young boy was in our yard late last night screaming for help as I took the dogs out. I fed him and he eat a lot.
I am trying to see if with your help, I could help him.

Furball responded that they don’t take tame cats, it’s not their mission and I knew that but I wanted to make sure. Their low cost spray/neuter program $120, has also ended, so for this guy it would be regular cost neutering, which is around $300-400. I have to go to the vet clinic today so I will check the price. It would be important to get him fixed so he would not breed more.
I’m not in place right now to carry this cost by myself.
Among my followers, would there be few who would like to pitch in so we could get this guy fixed?
If you say yes, I would check in with you later, how much you would be willing to give.

Before we are there, I need to find permanent home or temporary foster for him, where he can land to recover from his surgery.

He is very sweet and looking for help, it would be sad to see him become stray and try to survive outside now when winter is coming.

This sweet young boy was screaming on the other side of the road. Of course I had to go and check that no cat was injured.
Luckily no, this one looks like he was born in the spring, very vocal ( I will post a video as well ), not fixed. Put out food and water.
I did reach out to Furball cat sanctuary.
Could anyone help and give this young man safe place to stay? Even temporarily.
He needs to get neutered and off the streets so he is not breeding more out there.
I’m sure you have seen that my house is full. I can’t even temporarily house more. I just want to help ❤️

“Camping” with my horse for 4 hours until the other horses come in, she is not happy by herself in the barn. Arena was steaming.
She got shower first thing when I came at 1 pm, I don’t think I have ever seen her that sweaty.
I don’t want to put her back out anymore today. It’s brutal outside, it’s hot in the barn but at least Venla is not grilling in the sun.

Kun kerromme perivämme jokaisesta uuteen kotiin luovutettavasta kissasta sijoitusmaksun, saamme toisinaan osaksemme ihmettelyä. ’’Onpa kurjaa, että kissasta joutuu maksamaan noin paljon. Varmasti löytäisivät kaikki nopeasti uuden kodin jos olisivat ilmaisia.’’

Välillä ihmiset tuntuvat unohtavan, että kodittomien eläinten hoitaminen ei ole ilmaista puuhaa. Ei suinkaan – vuosittain eläinten hoito maksaa HESYlle suurin piirtein miljoona euroa. Ensinnäkin, päivittäin kuluu suuria määriä mm. kissanhiekkaa ja ruokaa, ja lisäksi rahaa palaa mittaviin eläinlääkärikuluihin. Kaikki kissat lähtevät meiltä uusiin koteihin leikattuina, rokotettuina, madotettuina sekä mikrosirulla tunnusmerkittyinä. Tämäkään ei ole ilmaista, ja oikeastaan kissasta perittävä sijoitusmaksu ei edes kokonaan kata näitä kuluja.

Toiseksi, miksi kissan edes pitäisi olla ilmainen? Miksi kissan arvo on joidenkin ihmisten silmissä niin alhainen, että siitä ei tulisi maksaa penniäkään? Kissoja kaupitellaan edelleen verkkopalstoilla ja kauppojen ilmoitustauluilla pilkkahintaan tai annetaan ilmaiseksi. Kun hankintakynnys on matala, ei kissan asialliseen hoitoon välttämättä olla valmiita panostamaan. Kissoihin liittyvät ongelmat juontuvat kissan heikosta arvostuksesta, ja kissojen statusta voidaan nostaa vain tekemällä niiden hankinnasta vaikeampaa ja kalliimpaa. Jokaisella kissalla tulisi olla rahallinen arvo.

Kissa saattaa elää jopa parikymmentä vuotta, ja ruoka- ja tarvikekulujen lisäksi omistajan täytyy varautua myös mm. eläinlääkärikuluihin. Säännölliset eläinlääkärikäynnit ovat tärkeä osa lemmikin perushoitoa, ja jos kissa sairastuu, voivat hoito- ja lääkekustannukset kohota hyvinkin korkeiksi.

Jos parinsadan euron sijoitusmaksun kokee liian kalliiksi, kannattaa harkita uudestaan, onko valmis ollenkaan kissaa ottamaan.

Absolutely the best ride since Venla’s pneumonia in the spring. She got new dancing shoes and she was going. Venla was so steady on her feet. I don’t think we have cantered this much for a long time.
James had different kind of glue and look how cute her hooves look and the best part… no holes on the hoof wall from the nails ❤️ I am so grateful for James, what huge difference he has made in our lives.

Venla got new glue ons, James did a wonderful job as always.
These are Venla’s second pair of glue ons and she is doing great.
No more nailing. These are more supportive than the regular metal shoes. It’s as close as it gets to be barefoot
