A memorial video for the amazing Chuggs. He was my rescue dog from April 2013 to December 2025. We rescued each other. He was one of a kind and I will always remember the adventures we had together. Rest easy my sweet boy!

Pet grief during the holidays is intense because routines change, memories surface, and the pressure to be happy clashes with deep sadness. Remember, joy and grief can coexist.
Validate your feelings. It's okay to cry, feel lonely, or even feel guilt for enjoying moments. Your pet was family, and your grief is real.
Create new/modified traditions like hanging an ornament. Honor your pet with quiet moments, memorials, art, or donations.
Seek support and connection from others who understand. Practice self-care.
