BAROMETRIC PRESSURE WARNING ⚠️

I’ve made a conscious effort to always warn you guys when we’ve got big shifts in barometric pressure on the way. I’ve been doing this a long time, and after living with someone who suffered from chronic migraines for over six years, I can tell you there’s definitely a correlation between the weather and our health. I’m honestly amazed more people don’t talk about it, so I do. 🙂

It’s absolutely gorgeous out today with temps well above average, but a cold front moves through late tonight into early Wednesday morning. Expect gusty winds with it, and a drop back into the 50s and 60s for Wednesday.

Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night, a very strong mountain wave develops, winds could easily gust over 70 mph above 7,000 ft across the foothills, the Divide, and Wyoming. This could also extend into the San Juans, Sangre de Cristos, and the Raton Mesa, with strong southerly winds along portions of I-25 and the eastern plains lingering into Thursday and Friday.

That’s all ahead of a stronger cold front this weekend that’ll knock us down into the 40s and 50s and bring a shot of snur to the northern mountains, mainly north of I-70 and into Wyoming, on Thursday and again Saturday.

Now for my not-a-doctor disclaimer 😅:

Given our dry, semi-arid climate, I’ve learned that when I drink plenty of water, especially water mixed with about a tablespoon of Celtic salt, I stay hydrated longer. I try to get at least 60oz a day, keep my body moving to reduce inflammation, and if I feel a headache creeping in, I grab the Excedrin because it’s the only thing that stops mine in its tracks.

Everyone’s different, migraines, arthritis, fibromyalgia, you name it, but the one common thread I’ve noticed is that barometric pressure swings make symptoms worse when you’re dehydrated or sleep-deprived.

So over the next few days, the pressure is going to yo-yo. If you know how your body responds, start taking precautions now. And if you don’t, read through the comments, you might find someone who shares your experience.

You can’t stop the barometric pressure from changing… but you can respond to it. So consider this your heads up, Besties 💧💊💤

Baby Elliot loves his EquiLix. So cute.

Welcome baby Elliot!
This is a customer’s baby mule—maybe 4 weeks old. He got off to a rough start and had to spend some time at Littleton Equine Hospital, but now he’s home and seems well. Thanks, Angie Coffey, for taking good care of him. She said he is starting to eat the EquiLix already!

My Story-Nature’s Recipe for Healthy Animals

Cowboy Enterprises, LLC offers a complete line of SweetPro supplements designed to provide optimum nutrition for horses, beef and dairy cattle, sheep, goats and other livestock. SweetPro® products feature fermentation feed ingredients, rich in vitamins, minerals and protein. Our patented products help boost your profits by supporting feed efficiencies, labor savings and animal health.

I began using SweetPro® products 13 years ago and was amazed at the difference it made in my animals overall health. My horses shed out faster in the Spring, hoofs became healthier, the overall muscle tone was improved and best of all - my feed bill was lowered after using SweetPro®. Another big selling point for me was that SweetPro® products have.... NO SUGAR, NO STARCH and NO MOLASSES. Proper nutrition is so important to keep our animals healthy. I have two Senior Horses that are harder keepers at this stage of their lives and have some Arthritis, EquiPride has helped them hold their weight and feel more comfortable.

I am a proven believer in SweetPro® products and decided to be dealer to share with others the great benefits they offer. I am located in Elizabeth, Colorado, and serve the surrounding areas, including: Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert and El Paso Counties. (Other areas upon request)
