Introducing Oscar, the resilient, friendly, and extremely loyal 9-month-old Yellow Labrador Retriever mix! ☀️🌈Oscar was originally rescued from Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina where he was hit by a car and left for dead. Home for Good stepped right in to rescue this sweet boy and got him the emergency surgery he needed in order to save his life. Oscar suffered a fracture to his right femur which required pins and screws in order to properly repair. Since his surgery in April, Oscar has healed beautifully. He runs and plays with no issue. You'd never know what had gone through considering how he moves around.Oscar is a true social butterfly, always eager to greet people with a wagging tail and a smile. His friendly and outgoing nature makes him a joy to be around, and he quickly wins the hearts of everyone he meets. Whether it's receiving belly rubs or engaging in playtime, Oscar's love for human company shines through. In addition to his love for people, Oscar also enjoys the company of other dogs. He's a social pup who appreciates the opportunity to engage in playful interactions with his furry friends. He would, however, prefer a home with no cats. One of Oscar's favorite pastimes is to go for runs and adventures with his foster family. Whether it be around the neighborhood or in his very own fenced-in backyard, Oscar is ready and excited! Oscar is also a HUGE fan of water! ``Oscar currently weighs about 50 pounds and is almost done growing. Due to his size, Oscar would do best in a home with older children who can handle his large size. Oscar will make such a wonderful companion.
