Use a Command: Pick a command like “Go potty” and use it consistently every time you take your dog to their designated spot.

Praise and Reward: Immediately praise your dog and offer a treat after they go potty outside. Positive reinforcement is key.

Today marks the official 18th anniversary of Dog Krazy's very first location on Caroline Street (before we expanded to William St) in Downtown Fredericksburg, VA! It was 18 years ago that my little grumpy Bulldog Piglet and I opened the doors to our first store. Over the next decade, we had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing people and their dogs, and this Saturday, we're celebrating with our "We're Legal" event!

Many of you have visited over the past few weeks and collected a playing card (or maybe more than one), and we can't wait to see you all this Saturday as we start handing out prizes!

No one knows what the cards mean yet, but we’d love to hear what cards you’ve got—comment below or post a photo! We've got some fun games planned, but even our team doesn't know what they are until the morning of the event! Remember, all cards must be stapled to a receipt with your name on it!

Now that we’re home from Superzoo I’ll be on my computer for the next two weeks entering so many new products! Not only did we buy so much stuff, this was Jamie’s first experience with a giant buying show (she was not prepared for the madness) and Nancy spoke on a panel for women in the pet industry! It was a fast and whirlwind of a week and we definitely forgot to take lots of photos but we’re really excited with all the new items that will be arriving soon!
