Today, there are over 25 Stops in twelve different states including Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington, with over 50 more Stops opening in the near future. Each Stop is locally owned and operated, but was bred and trained on the original The Dog Stop morals and mission. Meet Kim Possible, the playful pup who’s ready to save the day—and your heart! ♥️

This lovable girl knows "sit" and is always up for a game of fetch, making her the perfect companion for active adventures. Kim adores pets, hugs, belly rubs, and snuggles, but she’s also crate-trained to keep her mischief in check when you’re not around. 🐾

Say hello to Chicory! 🐶 This adorable pup came to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP) as a stray and has blossomed into a joyful and loving companion. Though she was initially a bit nervous, Chicory has made incredible progress in building her confidence. She's a pint-sized cuddle bug who adores attention—especially after getting her zoomies out! 🐾

Treats are the way to Chicory's heart, and she's learning that humans can be her best friends. If you have another dog at home, it is recommended to schedule a meet-and-greet to see if they’re a perfect match. Stop by HARP's East Side shelter to meet this little sweetheart! 💗

We were bred from the beginning to be the best all-inclusive indoor/outdoor dog care facility. The Dog Stop® opened its doors in 2009 after owners Jesse Coslov and Chris Kane spent several years researching the pet care industry, surveying the needs of local pet owners and planning an all-inclusive facility. Their goal is to create a fun and safe environment where dogs would love to come and play, and pet owners would feel 100% confident in the superior care that their dogs were receiving. Everyone needs a mission, so as the first pups were entering the doors, Jesse and Chris made a commitment to their vision for the service. Today that mission and our commitment at both locations remain the same: To deliver a superior experience for the dog and his or her whole family by providing a safe environment, offering educational opportunities, anticipating and exceeding the needs of our clients and their pet companions, instilling complete peace of mind for those we serve—and to earn their trust every day! Our facilities cater to letting dogs do what they do – whether it’s running in our backyards, playing with friends, or just lounging around.
