This is definitely a late post but we were just told the news and thought we’d share. Sweet Kira passed in March and our hearts go out to her owner. She completed our Board and Train Program in 2020 and came in for regular boarding after. She lit up any room and was always smiling and asking for pets. She was always ready for any adventure and she was truly a favourite here🥰
We will always miss her but know that she is happy now🌈🥹
we are so sorry for your loss and our entire team sends out deepest condolences to you and your family❤️

It is the first day of Summer and Blakely the Blue Heeler mix, Winnie the Golden, and Blue the Black Lab loved their pool time! Our favourite season is pool season☀️😎.

Bubba and Tiny are brothers that trained with us as pups and have boarded for many years. We just received news that Tiny passed away. He was such a special boy and will always be remembered by our whole team! Our hearts go out to his owners and all owners who are dealing with the loss of a beloved pet family member💔

We really appreciate receiving feedback from our valued customers. Our staff have lots of fun spending time with the dogs - especially the ones with attitude 😂 and snapping these adorable photos for updates.
“I wanted to reach out and say thank you so much for taking our pup last month on such short notice. I was so stressed out when the house/dog sitter said she couldn’t watch him anymore (5 days into our vacation!). I didn’t know what we were going to do. Our pup has an attitude, and you need to know how to handle him. Our neighbour said our pup was so excited when he pulled up to your location, he told us that he must really love it there! I love the updates and pictures we receive when he is staying with you!”

The pick up/drop off is a breeze - always easy.
Everyone I’ve interacted with has been very kind and seems to know my dogs very well, which is always appreciated. The photos and updates while I’m gone are always appreciated and makes me feel very comfortable and confident that they are well cared for and having a good time. Your location is just gorgeous and I’m glad my boys can continue taking forest hikes even when I’m out of town!

We very much appreciated your communication during his stay with updates on his progress as well as making sure he stayed happy and healthy. His follow up classes with us were very informative and helped us continue his journey to be the best puppy and adult dog he can be. Oscar’s trainer on pick up day was informative and genuine while discussing his progress and importance of continuing his training at home. Our initial consultation was also honest and sincere about the process and initiatives to be used during Oscar’s stay with Obedience Unleashed. Our final expectations with Oscar progress were met. It was so nice to see Opie & Fidget again for boarding this weekend and we received such lovely feedback from their owner about their training progress. So happy and proud of them! “Just wanted to say thank you for the board and train program (completed in 2022). In September 2021, we were in downtown Calgary with Opie and Fidget and the trains were a huge problem. Opie was terrified and couldn't fight his instinct to run, right into traffic. I had to physically stop him from trying to get out of his harness to bolt into traffic, away from the train. Well, we just came back from downtown Calgary. Opie and Fidget spent a whole week off leash, staying in heel on the sidewalks, placing on benches, sitting in hotel elevators, laying down on restaurant patios...and Opie sat calmly as the trains went by. I am so grateful for your help. I used to look at people with well-behaved off leash pups and wish I had that. Now I do. I am that person. People stare and point and comment. So, thank you. Thank you for giving me the tools and the knowledge and getting us started on this incredible journey to 'obedience unleashed'. “

“I just want to thank you all so much for being so incredibly accommodating when we have last minute daycare and boarding requests like this last time when we had to go away because of a death in the family. This isn't the first or, I'm sure, the last time that we have been able to drop her off when plans suddenly change so please know how incredibly grateful we are.
Everyone there is so nice and whenever we drop her off, it's like dropping her off to family. She is insanely excited to go every time we head east on Dewdney and almost want to put her in daycare even we don't need to just so she can go and see her humans and furry friends.
-everyone there that we have the pleasure of dropping off and picking up from is lovely and we have no complaints whatsoever
- it's always super easy making boarding reservations, even when you show full! We just text and ask if we can be put on a waitlist and usually you're able to help us out somehow. In fact, I don't know that you've ever said no which just makes our lives so much easier when it comes to dog ownership!
- drop off/pick up is always super easy. Even the 2 or 3 times we've been late, we've never gotten grief over it and for that we are so thankfully because we're usually feeling pretty bad about it so thank you a million times.
- we love getting doggy pics and updates while she's away from us and she ALWAYS looks like she's having the time of her life
- condition of our pet when coming home is exactly as she was when we left her altho just a bit more tired and happy after having spent a day with friends
- twice now we have selected the option to have her groomed which has been awesome and so very convenient

Remi the Doberman is such a handsome boy and is loving his summer boarding stay with us. He prefers spending time with humans rather than other dogs so our staff spend extra time playing on the field with his favourite ball and some of our agility equipment 🤩

What a lovely getaway for our senior staff over the past 2 days! Great feedback about Maisey, a reactive Duck Toller, who just completed our board & train program. “Maisey is basically a different dog, she has never been so calm and manageable. We are over the moon with her behavior since coming home, she is responding really well to training. We are really excited to see how she improves even more with the upcoming classes and group walks!“ Here is a clip from our group walk last weekend with 21 dogs who practiced obedience exercises together and then all coexisted peacefully on a walk.
