Potential dog owners beware. There are a few good rescue orgs out there. Don't necessarily believe what they tell you about a dog. I have had to untangle too many scary, bad adoptions. Everyone gets hurt. Ask me if you need guidance.

Love your dog for who they are. If you have realistic expectations instead of trying to make your dog something they aren't like a perfect, little citizen or a dog who walks perfectly on leash all the time, love and accept who you have in front of you. That doesn't mean your dog gets to do whatever they want, whenever they want, but what it does mean is relax a little. And read Dr. Abrantes. He's brilliant....
