Hello everybody, a lot of you have taken note of these brilliant little fish we've had at the shop and have wanted to know more about them. Today I bring you information on how to go about that and even acquiring your own to keep and hopefully spawn yourself.

Next months South Coast Tropical Fish Society meeting will be a presentation by Brian Martineau on all things Licorice Gourami. The meeting is open to the public and there will be an auction of several species Brian keeps and breeds himself so we encourage all our customers to come and be part of a great event.

Hello everyone! This Saturday, two days away, I will be doing a small aquascaping demo at our home fish club. The South Coast Tropical Fish Society. It is open to the public and I'd highly recommend joining us!

This will be an introductory demonstration on the very basics of aquascaping. Design concepts, hardscape selection, plant choices, choosing fish, how to work with what you already have to make something impressive, etc. For all those out there who are trying to ball on a budget ya know?

The shop will be open normal hours during this, Krystyna will be flying solo so please be patient if its busy. Look forward to seeing you all there!

Heads up!

Saturday October 12th is the 3rd Annual Fall Auction for the South Coast Tropical Fish Society! We will be vending and helping out our friends there and would love to see all of you there. It's always a great time and you see some things you might not always see at these events. For clarity, we will be closed that Saturday.

We highly recommend joining the club as well, it's got some awesome things going on. They just introduced their Breeders Award Program which is a great program! Info is available through the club but you have to be a paid member to participate. Do you have what it takes to become a master breeder?
