Hurricane Helene Update:

We are very blessed that all humans and dogs survived this massive storm. Our area had the highest wind ratings and we sustained 100+ mph winds. We do have damage to our facilities and property, we are dealing with tons of trees down. However, we are safe and thank God for his protection.

We are running extremely limited operations. No power and limited cell service. We are focusing on things day by day, but ask for patience and understanding during this time. Please continue to pray for all of those affected, this storm was catastrophic for many areas and our prayers are going out to all ❤️🐾

We do not typically offer our opinions on medications since we are breeders and not veterinarians. However, given that our own owners and puppies have been affected, we have decided to release a statement regarding SIMPARICA TRIO.

We do NOT recommend giving SIMPATICO TRIO to any dog of any age. Two families have contacted us with young unrelated dogs with no previous neurological problems who've experienced seizures after having been on SIMPARICA TRIO. Please do your own research and make sure to look into breed specific information. Some medications have higher risks with certain breeds. We do our best to educate families, without pushing our personal beliefs, so they can make the best decision for their puppies. All medications have side effects and there is always a risk, but it breaks our hearts to see pups end up affected.

Please do your own research and, most importantly, ask questions!

We hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday and stayed safe, but mainly that everyone knows the reason for the season ✝️ We considered ourselves very very blessed and hope to continue sharing our blessings as long as possible. We have had quite a few families ask us about our basset hound program and if we are still going to be having litters moving forward. No worries, we are continuing our basset program - HOWEVER, we have currently decided to halt all plans for pups for the foreseeable future. Please share our page and kennel name with anyone who is looking to add a basset to their family. We have some absolutely stunning males and females available, perfect for families who want to skip the baby stage! Our full statement is below and is featured on our website as well.

We have decided, like many other responsible and reputable breeders, to PAUSE our breeding program for the foreseeable future. This does not mean we are done breeding basset hounds, only that we will not be welcoming any new litters until ALL of the older pups we currently have are placed into their forever homes. We are working to get new photos/videos of our current pups, if you are interested in a pup then call, text, or email us to get more info. Please note that the only available mode of transportation for our current puppies is ground delivery or pick-up at our home. We have significantly discounted our pups in an effort to accommodate families who would like to add a new furry member and help offset some of the costs given the economy. This is a great opportunity to add a high-quality AKC Basset Hound from our DNA-tested lines for a great price (all pups are sold as pets only with limited AKC rights).

We’ve had a recent uptick in inquiries on our beautiful puppies so I wanted to go over some housekeeping 🐾

Please make sure everyone in your household is in agreement about adding a new member. Also, make sure your children, if applicable, are the proper age and maturity to live in harmony with your new pup.

Make a list of questions for us to go over and do that BEFORE asking to place a deposit, as deposits are nonrefundable.

Please visit our websites and pages PRIOR to reaching out so you can read about us, our process, and see our current available pups.

When you reach out please share info about your household and family and what you are looking for. This can include color, s*x, personality, energy level, etc. anything that will help us match you to the best fit for your home and lifestyle.

Lastly, please spend time thinking over this decision prior to selecting a puppy. This is a 12-18+ year commitment of adding a new member to your family. It is heartbreaking and frustrating for any breeder who spends their lives dedicated to this line of work to have a home not work out for a pup. We miss vacations, weddings, and other events with family and friends because this is a 365 day and 24/7 job. We LOVE this work we do and the joy it fosters, but it is equally devastating to have families call us back and say they want to return a pup without ever consulting a trainer or puppy classes. We understand this is an investment and a major expense, so please set your family and pup up for success by being prepared. This includes considering the initial expense of purchasing a responsibly bred pup from a respectable breeder, any travel/transportation fees, vet care, spay/neuter costs, and professional training. Pet insurance is a great way to minimize cost especially if you get it early! We do our best to work with families regardless of their budget, and if we don’t a dog that fits your needs we can refer you to a breeder who might.

Our main goal is for you and your puppy to live in HARMONY. We have enjoyed 23 years of helping families find their newest furry member, and look forward to continuing our efforts 🐾
