Today marks six years the passing of our only Bo Boy, Sergio. I can’t believe it has been that long and yet we still have a hole in the heart that can’t never be filled. We miss this boy so much. Hope you are playful and happy wherever you are, my boy! Miss you dearly 💔💗🐕

So the blues start to hit me every year about this time. Every year that we were able, if Cecilia’s kidney numbers we’re doing ok, we drove all 4 of our babies to the beach to celebrate another year of life. Her birthday was September 1st.

Not only did we lose Cecilia in November 2018, But we also had already lost Sergio In January of that same year. I haven’t been able to really celebrate Christmas since then. That’s partly why we went overseas in 2019.

Sooo, just saying those blues are here again. Not being able to travel all this time because of COVID has kind of invited them to move in and stay more permanently. Wonder what this Christmas 2021 etc will bring….

Too much time on my hands that I keep reading the damn Pirate Marie (the 1st pic is Pirate Marie- Her story on Instagram)story keeping me in tears. Of all the animals I’ve had in my life, Cecilia, my baby girl stole every centimeter of my now shattered heart thats still in a million shards. During the trip we saw and toured real “fairytale “ castles, went hot tubbing and plunged into the Baltic Sea, Visited the UN and Red Cross, made Belgian chocolate in Belgium, took countless trains and saw some gorgeous train stations, saw some unforgettable museums (Anne Frank and Van Gogh among them), went to the 2nd oldest amusement park in the world, went to countless Christmas Markets and main squares and saw all of the gorgeous ancient buildings all lit up in white. (*sigh) Was it really necessary to come home??

Ok. We decided to celebrate Christmas a new way this year. Especially after 5 years of DNP school and a new job we took a few weeks vacation. And I needed a way to help chase away those perpetual blues. I did buy a trinket in remembrance of Cecilia and Sergio though. Geneva, Bern, Brussels, Bruges, Amsterdam, Breman, and Copenhagen! I think I can only upload few pics at a time here so I will make several posts-sorry about that.
