Brooke, Rescued in 2020
A GRREP Alum! Here’s what her wonderful owner had to say!
We rescued Brooke in Sept 2020. She was shy, scared and always in a corner. With love and patience, she has blossomed into a true family member. Pippa is 8 and is her “handler” through this agility course. Brooke was the only dog to complete the course correctly with no lead!!
Freddy is doing extremely well after his surgery. He won't be at full recovery for 6 months and he still walks with a slight limp, but at least he is not in pain any longer when he runs. His foster mom has been wonderful with him and she has decided to adopt him - yea!! He has found his forever home. She takes him to an assisted living facility every day and he has become their unofficial therapy dog - he is very popular! Thanks again to all of you who supported GRREP and made Freddy's surgery a reality. 🐾❤️❤️
FREDDY UPDATE:
Freddy is doing amazingly well after his surgery last week. His drainage tube was removed from the incision site, his appetite has improved and the surgery hasn't slowed him down a bit! He still loves playing with his toys and balls and even tries to run, which of course he should not be doing. His incision still has to be cleaned several times a day to ward off infection. He doesn't like this much, but he is a champ and doesn't whine or cry. Many, many thanks to all of the generous donors who helped GRREP pay for Freddy's surgery.
