HBCH CH Gobbler Creek Mack Man

•He is a dog that can lock on a track and drive it with accuracy. He has GEARS. He will slow down and work across a gravel path, or speed up and hammer down the edge of a field.

•He is a dog that feeds off PRESSURE. The more you drop on the ground, the more you will get from him. If you want to solo, he can do that too.

•He is honest with his mouth and only strikes when he can run it.

•TOTAL DOG…He has field abilities paired with good overall conformation and muscle mass.

List of accomplishments since 2022:

1. 2022 TRIPLE CHALLENGE RESERVE CHAMPION - 1st trios..4th large pack..most field points out of all dogs.

2. Qualified for 2022 and 2023 UKC World Championships.

3. HBCH with 2 wins towards GRHBCH

4. 2023 UKC WV State Show Champion

Mack came up just short in his casts in the field this weekend, but he managed to get the show title! Thanks to all involved for putting on the hunt!

Planned for 2023 Spring/Summer:

This cross is one that could really produce some rabbit dogs! She isn’t bred yet, but hopefully will be within the next month.

Both dogs run a good line with good foot. Both dogs have pretty good hunt and jump their fair share of rabbits! Based on results I’ve seen from other Eagle x Trigger type crosses, I think this could be some POWER.

2022 Reserve Champion at Triple Challenge

This hound is 2 years old. He had a solid weekend placing 1st overall in Trios and 4th overall in Large Pack stakes (4 hour hunt, 30 hounds on the ground).

Thanks goes out to everyone involved. It was a good overall weekend.

2021 LITTER UPDATE:

A pup from this year’s litter started running rabbits at 3.5 months old in the wild I am told! That is the kind of reports you want to hear after pups go to their homes! Looking forward to seeing the progress of the others in the litter. 🤞🏼

A day where I braced two females for a morning exercise run. This rabbit came through a little before, and they went into a check after I saw it. Then Maggy came through with the check and line, while Maple missed and came from outside.

Maggy is the female we just had pups off of. She has good check work and line control. Hopefully her pups turn out similar!

Spring is here it seems, and a cross has been made here!

Sire: PCH GRCH Cedar Groves Mossy Oak

Dam: Gobbler Creek Max Speed Maggy

These dogs both have great hunt, check power, and upper medium speed (7-8) with honest mouths and big noses. I’m looking forward to seeing what can come of this cross. Mossy is getting up in age (almost 11) so I really would like to get some more pups from him while I can. Time will tell!
