Making dog treats is quite the process; from gathering ingredients, prepping your work station and grinding up meats, rolling out each individual treat and setting them on the trays for the dehydrator and then waiting 18-36 hours (depending on the treat). Then there’s all the materials for bagging up the treats, bags, ink, stickers, air/dry packets. It can be quite expensive as we start up, but to see a dog thoroughly enjoying the treats you make is the biggest reward of all! My kids and I created Bark & Belch to have fun making treats for our pets and a few special friends that help support us, so we could keep going. We are not a big company by any means, just a mom and her two kiddos in the kitchen. I wanted to teach my kids the process of creating something and that quality should always be at the forefront of any products we create. Our goal is to make dogs and cats happy with fresh, human grade ingredients.

These particular treats are a new recipe we worked on: Chicken, Chicken hearts and pumpkin! Gluten free and all natural, no preservatives.

It’s been a while since we’ve made our homemade dog treats, but we will be making some treats soon as a fundraiser to neuter Buddy, who we are fostering. Will post when they are ready, stay tuned! 🐾

Hello dog treat fans! I know it’s been awhile since I’ve been on this platform, but just wanted everyone to know that we are currently taking a hiatus from treat making. All of my energy and efforts are steered toward opening a 30 dog kennel in Jurupa Valley. Once we are settled in and can make it work, I’ll start up treats again. * Boar’s Ear with Fur $6.50 per ear. (2 left)

* Fresh baked Tuna & Egg bites $10 for 12oz. These are fresh baked treats with ingredients of Tuna, Organic Wheat Flour, Organic Eggs and Parmesan Cheese.

* Baked Gingerbread Cookies for pups. Organic Whole Wheat Flour, Ginger, Molasses, Eggs, Cinnamon. $10 for 8 oz. Comes in cute Christmas cut-outs!

Happy Howl-idays friends! I still have a few dehydrated treats left, but once these babies are gone, I will be dialing back to our own treats with our signature Chicken Pup Pattie’s and our baked goods. Most of our dehydrated treats come from a vendor and the taxes and drive to the vendor doesn’t make it worth it for our small business at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience and hope you’ll try some of Bark & Belch made treats! If you’re interested in what we have left of dehydrated treats, please pm me. (We have Boar’s ear with hair, Rabbit ears with hair, chicken feet, and dehydrated duck necks.)

Hi friends! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We are gearing up to make more treats this weekend for our fur friends! I will be heading to my vendor tomorrow for specialty things like chicken feet, turkey necks and boar’s ears. If you’re looking for something in particular, please let me know. I’ll be making batches of chicken pup Pattie’s tonight as well. Deliveries will be made on Sunday! So please get your orders in! Thank you and God bless!

Bark & Belch had its very 1st vendor show. We were helping a friend at a Poultry show event and she asked if we wanted to display our treats. So we put a few treats out to see how they’d fare. We will be off this week from making treats as we prep for thanksgiving, but afterwards we will be changing the system a bit and doing pre-orders. I’ll be working on a form soon where you can put your order in and items will be made fresh for you and your pup(s). (Depending on order, it could take up to 3 days with dehydration times, but baked goods will just be a 24 hour notice needed.) As always, thank you for your continued support and love!
