TEDDY is as sweet and cuddly as a bear, and we are simply delighted for you to meet her. 🧸🩷

This beautiful Hound mix is seven months old and weighs 28 pounds. She is one of 7 dogs who was rescued from an awful backyard breeding situation in South Carolina. She and all her companions were covered head to toe in fleas and ticks, but with the love and medical care they’ve received here at Home for Good, Teddy and company are all healthy and happy, hopeful that their forever homes are on the horizon.

Teddy has a beautiful bright white coat with the most lovely and unique tan markings. Her little heart nose and pink whiskers are simply so kissable. Teddy may be a bit shy at first, but who can blame her after the past he endured? She warms up quickly to new people and responds beautifully to love, patience, and praise.

Teddy does well around other dogs, cats, and kids. Teddy is a lap dog and would love to crawl right up to you for snuggles. She is learning the art and appreciation of a good toy and quite likes to romp around outside. She’d love a trip to Build-a-Bear so she can learn about his namesake and make her very own little friend.

Teddy is a fast learner and is making great strides in her leash and crate training skills. She sleeps through the night in her crate and loves to go for walks!

Elmer is a delightful 5-year-old Chocolate Labrador mix weighing 61 lbs, who has seamlessly adapted to his foster home, displaying an affectionate and well-mannered temperament. He was originally rescued from Swainsboro, Georgia and is so excited to find his forever family!

He is fully house-trained and crate-trained. Elmer enjoys his toys, particularly playing with his Kong, and loves relaxing on the sofa after a playful day.

Elmer is responsive to commands and treat-motivated, reliably sitting when asked and continuously improving on his leash skills with minimal pulling.

This sociable boy enjoys following his foster around both the house and and settles well at night, sleeping soundly on a dog bed in the bedroom.

Elmer has a strong affinity for active play and would thrive in a home with a large fenced yard where he can run and play to his heart's content. He would prefer not to share his home with any canine or feline friends as he enjoys being the center of attention at all times.

Elmer's foster family says: "He's a happy-go-lucky dog, truly enjoys life to the fullest. His favorite activities are going for walks, playing fetch, and eating. Say the words "walk", "ball" or "eat" and he jumps for joy. He's great on walks and never tires of fetching a ball (or frisbee, or any toy). He equally enjoys his downtime and loves to cuddle on the couch with his family. He's very affectionate and not shy about asking for attention."

Introducing the most adorable petite pooch, Penny! 🩷

Penny is a 7-month-old Dachshund/Beagle mix. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Swainsboro, GA alongside her sister Petunia. These poor girls were dumped with no hope in sight, but thanks to HFGDR, they got their second chance!

Penny currently weighs about 14 lbs and will be a small-sized girl once fully grown. Prior to being rescued, Penny suffered an injury to her front right paw. She was found with a wire tightly wrapped around her foot, cutting off all circulation. Luckily, she received all the proper veterinary attention and is now fully healed.

Due to Penny's past, she can be quite shy when meeting new people. Though, with just a little patience and TLC, she will surely be your best friend.

Having other confident dogs around is like flipping on a switch for Penny. With the confident dogs by her side, she unleashes her zoomies and true playful nature. Penny has so much fun playing with soft and squeaky toys, playing chase with her canine friends, or just watching the birds fly by. Because of this, she must go home with another canine sibling or multiple.

Penny would do best with older children who can be patient with her while she gets comfortable, and she would love to go home with cats. She is also working diligently on her leash, crate, and house training. Penny is looking forward to her new lease on life with her forever family!

Hi there! I’m Jack Daniels, also known as JD, a sweet and playful pup who will melt your heart! ♥️

All my siblings have since been adopted. I'm the last one left!

At just 4 months old and weighing about 20 pounds, I’m a loving bundle of joy who gets along wonderfully with everyone I meet. I’m sure to make the perfect family companion.

I come from the adorable Liquor Litter, a mix of German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever pups. My siblings and I were born into a warm and loving foster home after our mom, Brandi, was rescued just days before giving birth. Now, all my littermates have been adopted, and I cannot wait to find my very own forever home!

My ears used to be floppy, but as I've continued to grow, the more they stand. Now, they both stand up straight. My foster mom also tells me I'm the cutest!

I’m super smart. I sleep through the night in my crate, have pretty much mastered housebreaking, and LOVE to go for walks! I also already know "sit"! I love playtime with other dogs and enjoy meeting new people, cats, and children. My affectionate and lovable nature makes me an ideal addition to any family.

Meet the most beautiful girl around, it's Fefe😍

Fefe has mastered the art of contour, with stunning tan and black markings on her beautiful face. We keep asking her for a makeup tutorial, but she insists her beauty is all natural. This two-year-old 42-pound girl is a Hound/Treeing Walker Coonhound mix with a stunning black coat, tan and white markings, and eyes that we are pretty sure hold all the knowledge in the universe. She was rescued from Saluda, SC, and spends every day grateful for her second chance.

Fefe is an introspective girl who enjoys observing the people and nature around her. She enjoys walks where she can sniff around, and when she’s not getting her steps in, she loves to find a nice, sunny patch of grass to catch a tan (but reminds you to always use your SPF in the sun). Fefe is a social girl and loves to be close to her people, especially when she can cuddle up to them.

Fefe is a calmer girl who still appreciates the chance to run around and play with some other doggy friends in a fenced-in yard. Fefe would do well in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids who are respectful of her boundaries while she adjusts to her new settings. When she’s not busy being a beauty queen, Fefe loves to play with toys and hopes you’ll take her to spend her puppy allowance at the toy store from time to time.

We cannot believe this sweetheart hasn't been scooped up yet! Meet the beautiful and loving, Celeste! 🎀🩷

Celeste is a 3-year-old Labrador Retriever mix and is fully grown at about 53 lbs. This pretty girl was rescued alongside her six puppies in Windsor, SC, where they were stranded outside in an abandoned house. They are so thankful to have been saved and are now ready to find their forever families!

Celeste is such a sweet girl who loves to give hugs and kisses! Celeste absolutely adores people. Though, small children are a bit too much for Celeste. She would prefer her forever home have no kids or those with prior dog experience.

Celeste's favorite way to spend her days includes going on walks and curling up on the couch next to her favorite people for a good nap. She is very go-with-the flow and if its left up to her, she will ask to stay home and cuddle all day long. She is known for giving the best hugs and loves to hand them out!

Get ready for FAMILY PUPPY YOGA! 🐶

The cutest yoga class ever, Family Puppy Yoga is a fundraiser event to benefit Home for Good Dog Rescue. This session will take place on Sunday, July 14th from 12 pm to 1 pm. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to set up your yoga mat and meet the puppies, of course!

For a suggested donation of just $30 per adult and $15 per child, you can enjoy a fun, beginner-friendly yoga class while playing and cuddling with adorable puppies. Plus, 100% of the proceeds will be donated back to HFGDR to support our mission of rescuing dogs in need.

Please note that participating children should be 10+ years old and must be comfortable around puppies.

SANDY, like the pecan cookies and the prettiest beaches! 🏝️🍪💛

Sweet Sandy is mostly a Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix, but there is definitely some lovebug in there, too. This girl is 5 months old and was rescued from Swainsboro, Georgia. She weighs 23 pounds with a bit more growing to do.

Sandy’s light brown coat is as soft and lovely, and her floppy ears are as smooth as silk. Her eyes are accented by long eyebrows that are as expressive as they are adorable.

Sandy is a very sweet and loving little girl who is submissive to humans. She would love a home with other dogs, cats, or kids. Meet MooMoo! 🐮💗

This short glass of chocolate milk came to us from Barnwell, South Carolina. She is a Dachshund/Beagle mix, which is evident in both her height and personality. MooMoo is 8 months old and weighs 28 pounds. She will stay a nice small/medium size once fully grown.

What MooMoo lacks in height, she certainly makes up for in exuberance. She likes to be on the move, and as soon as she is on the leash, she is leading you to sniff out all the best spots. We don’t think she’s strictly vegetarian, but she does love to chomp on lush, green grass. No, MooMoo, we don’t have any Ranch dressing for your “salad.”

MooMoo is a social butterfly as well and would not mind having a few grass grazing friends either. She gets along great with other dogs, cats, and would be a wonderful best friend to children. MooMoo is also known for snoring while snuggling, so be prepared for the cutest nap que!

MooMoo has the perfect blend of Beagle ears and legs with a long Dachshund body. While this mix is typically called a Doxle, she thinks Dachshund makes her sound more refined. Either way, she’d be so happy to come home with you and make you smile each and every day.

Brett is a tiny boy with a big heart, full of love and life after his rescue from a kill shelter in Augusta, Georgia. 🙏🏼

This sweet southern boy is a 6-month-old, ten-pound Terrier/Chihuahua mix with a smooth white coat and light tan markings. His ears hear all, but he’s a little self-conscious about their size, so please remind him daily how precious and perfect they are.

Because of his scary start in life, Brett is a bit reserved when first meeting new people. But with a little patience, another canine friend, and some yummy treats, Brett gains confidence and comes out of his adorable shell.

Because of his reservations, he prefers children who will be respectful of his space as he learns his surroundings. He loves being around self-assured dogs who can help show him the ropes, especially when they are willing to share their toys.

Brett has heard amazing things about the snuggles to be had on couches and beds, and he would love to find a warm spot by your side. Brett is shy but so loving, and we think he’s just waiting on the perfect family to give him the life he deserves.

Caramel is as sweet and lovely as her name suggests! 💌💗🍬

This one-year-old Terrier/Chihuahua mix was rescued from Barnwell, South Carolina. Her coat is a tan/yellow/fawn color that looks adorable on all 19 pounds of her. She is the perfect petite size to take everywhere with you.

She is always eager to be on the move, but she is working on her leash training and showing daily improvement. She would love a fenced-in yard where she can unleash all her energy and get the zoomies out. She is the ultimate hype-girl and if you show excitement, she will join right in with you.

Caramel is very loving of other dogs, cats, and kids, and this little energizer bunny will play with them for as long as they’d like. Did your heart just Skipper a beat when you looked into these sweet eyes? 😍

Ours, too. It simply cannot be helped when gazing at the loving face of Skipper. This Beagle/Spaniel mix is a 6-month-old angel who was rescued from Swainsboro, Georgia. He weighs 17 pounds and has a bit more growing to do.

Skipper’s perfectly symmetrical face is a lovely mix of tan and white, and boy does this little man have the cutest freckles. His nose and legs and even his tummy are peppered with Skipper Spots (that’s what he likes to call them), and they are as cute as his big brown eyes.

Skipper is a very calm and gentle little man. Despite the usual talkative nature of Beagles, Skipper prefers to be quieter and more introspective. He prefers to take in his surroundings and offer you his sweet snuggles instead. Skipper would love a home with other dogs, all aged kids, or cats. A low-key, and fun-filled, lifestyle is perfect for this guy, and he just wants to be included in family game night, movies on the couch, and rainy-day naps.
