💔 Please send your love to Ralph 💔

Our sweet senior boy, Ralph, went in for his first heartworm treatment today. We’re so worried about him and hoping for the best. He deserves so much more than this—more love, more care, and a life without pain.

Heartworms are preventable, but Ralph’s previous owners didn’t take care of him, leaving him to face this uphill battle. It breaks our hearts, but we are doing everything we can to give him the second chance he deserves.

Please keep Ralph in your thoughts as he begins this tough journey. He needs all the love, good vibes, and strength we can send his way. ❤️

🐾 Meet Charles, Our Sweet Senior Pup 🐾

Today, Charles visited Dr. Nishimura at where they checked his eyes with an ophthalmoscope. Charles is completely blind, but thankfully, he doesn’t seem to be in any pain. He’s been circling in the yard, but with no other neurological signs, the vet believes it may be cognitive.

Charles is heartworm positive and undergoing the slow-kill treatment due to his heart and other health conditions. At this point, we are treating what we can and focusing on keeping him as comfortable and happy as possible.

We may not know what his past was like, but we promise that from now on, he will only know love. 💙

Good Night, World! 🌙

Just some of our adorable pups enjoying the comfort of their foster homes! 💕

📸 Pic 1: Mister Ben and Arthur cuddling after an eventful couple of weeks! The two pups had a ruff first meeting, which startled Ben and sent him running right before New Years. He was gone for over a week with no sightings. Thankfully he was found by his amazing foster papa, who had to confront a homeless man pretending to be his owner. Thankfully, Mister was still wearing his collar, and he’s now safe and sound! 🐾

🌟 Big Day for Kissel 🌟

Today is a big day for our sweet boy Kissel—he’s heading into surgery to have his eye removed. Here he is with the amazing Dr. A from Oahu Vet, who will be performing the procedure. 💙

Kissel has been through so much, but he’s a fighter, and we know this surgery will give him the chance to feel better and live a more comfortable life. Please send him all the good vibes, positive energy, and healing juju today! 🐾

Armani is loving his new foster home! He and FAF alumni Roo hit it off and are fast furriends 👯 He is the last of his pack to be adopted but we are certain he will find his place soon. He is a sweet, shy boy so he takes time to warm up. Sometimes with rescue pups who have been abused, neglected, and treated harshly, the world can be stressful and scary. It takes time to decompress so some pups need more patience than others. Thankfully his foster mama is so loving and kind, he knows he is safe.
